Darkidoru is my anime idol/band game that I’m writing on Wattpad and it’s specifically a story - however it’s multimedia with drawings and (mayyybe) instrumentals to listen to whilst reading the story! Darkidoru will have three books total (other two haven’t been as thoroughly planned like the first however) and basically the first one is about ‘light after darkness’.
What that means is that Darkidoru will have more mature/darker themes, yet (most) characters having a happy ending! It’s very much about overcoming and moving on, and a lot of the characters have major issues to work through.
I can’t say what kind (idk I just don’t think Tumblr would really love that) but basically their issues are familial, societal, personal (identity/unresolved feelings), and likely others! I have planned the story for at least 2 years now and haven’t really started properly writing but I’ll try to start sometime next year! ^_^
The designs are also being revised currently because I am not happy with all of them (I drew them a while ago after all) but I can attach the beta designs on a separate post!
There are six bands total:
• Khemikal (rock band)
• Clockestia (slow emotional rock band)
• Sweetie*Spook (Halloween themed idol group)
• Evillians (group of actors who act evil on stage)
• Technobits (online electronic band who sample video game sounds)
• LilyValley (another rock band but with a more nature themed aesthetic)
I can make individual posts about the girls in the story but main points about Darkidoru are:
• Idol game story (so not an actual game sadly)
• Inspired by other games (Project SEKAI and Bang Dream specifically) but with a focus on mature/deep themes and issues
• Light after dark (overcoming and moving on)
• Will be available on Wattpad with its own art and also song lyrics (because I can’t compose)
