Art trade with @darkkara !!! (sorry for the posting delay, between work and the nasty cold I have- it's been a wild time) ANYWAY! I love Raine, especially their striking green eyes
Do you guys have any tip for someone making comics on their own? Or something..
Have fun. Make the comic for yourself. Don’t cater to people. They will complain and may even try to belittle your work because you who are making a free comic for them out of your busy schedule do not owe them anything. But don’t let these people discourage you. Some people are jealous of your commitment and storytelling. And all you should do is wish them well and that they too can tell their story one day. Experiment and try things outside your comfort zone. Don’t like backgrounds, draw three of them. Can’t draw animals, Draw two of them. Can’t draw weapons to save your life, give your main character a weapon and draw it. Don’t be afraid to take a leap. Sometimes you will fall, but you will learn a step to help you across that gap on the way down and the next time you see that gap you’ll be more prepared. Do give yourself tiny breaks, stretch, drink water, eat a snack, take a nap --but if you feel an art block coming on and you don’t want to work on the comic -- work on the comic. Even if it’s just concept art for the comic. It’s still working on the comic. Just don’t let the concept art be the only thing you do. We’re not going to sugar coat it. Making a comic will physically and mentally exhaust you to a breaking point. You will find some days wondering if it’s worth it. But when you remember your love and having fun for your comic you will return to it. Do NOT work on this comic unless you are in LOVE with your story. Because you will be with it as a marriage till the end. And that can be MANY MANY years. -TBATF Team

Hey everyone (so like, 19 people XD) I just want to make an appreciation post about my best friend @darkkaradoodles, she’s constantly making me this awesomely cute art, always has my back, she’s trustworthy, very cuddly, kind, and a funny person that I would be lost without (she’s even making these cute pictures to make my sick day brighter). If I were you I’d go check out her channel she does amazing art. Love ya kara now and forever you’re the best
