I had an amazing dream where Forbidden Memories had hidden alternate routes/campaigns, kinda like The Falsebound Kingdom. One was set in the present day and followed Yugi and his friends as he investigated the Prince's tomb (Rex and Weevil were there too for some reason), and the third was set in the past as Heishin and Seto killed Teana and Jono along with the king and queen and the Prince attempted to resurrect DarkNite to get his friends (and family) back.
I had a dream where Joey was dueling Duelists of the Roses’ version of Pegasus to try and stop him from summoning DarkNite--I guess the latter got the memo that Seto Rosenkreuz summoned the wrong guy XD I woke up before I could see who won but it was a fairly close match.
I had a dream where modern-day Seto met Manawyddan fab Llyr from Duelists of the Roses, who was not happy his ancestor had summoned and banished him (and how his other ancestor, Priest Seto, had helped get rid of Darknite back in Forbidden Memories). I think he attempted to kidnap/devour Mokuba as revenge, but I don’t remember what happened next other than Paradox from 5Ds was also involved.

I like how both endings of Duelists of the Roses involve Seto’s pendant, just in different contexts.
In retrospect Simon must be feeling pretty fortunate he taught the Prince to play cards, since his adversaries’ schemes revolve around dueling, including DarkNite. XD
I found a cool Yu-Gi-Oh fic post-DSOD about Kaiba returning, but he brought trouble with him in the form of DarkNite/Nitemare! It’s part of a series but can be read as a standalone. All the Duel Monster battles are really cool!
