Finally, there was the team of Sera in her Plana form, Aigami, and Seto Kaiba.

Aigami: Kaiba...What's the meaning of this! Sera: ............ Kaiba: Humph. This isn't my doing. The two of you teaming with me is what this world wanted. Sera: By the unified consciousness... Kaiba: People don't want peace and calm. They want what excites them. Aigami: That's why you created this world. Fine. I'll battle alongside you. And learn all about your world! Kaiba: Don't get the wrong idea. I don't care what you learn because I don't care about you at all. All I care about is my Duel! Sera: ............ (they lose) Kaiba: I can't believe it...This Duelist was able to defeat me... Aigami: Ha! You're pathetic, Kaiba! Kaiba: Heh. You're the pathetic one. Aigami: What do you mean? Next came the team of Scud, Ryou, and Joey...Oh boy XD

Scud and me don't gonna get along. So neither will our cards. Scud: Stop your moanin' and groanin'! It ain't like I wanted to team with you either! Everyone knows Joey is the worst. But you're not too far behind, Bakura! With all your spooky cards! Joey: No one cares what ya think about dis team! Scud: You're the one who brought it up in the first place! Ryou: At least we can all agree that this is truly the most horrible team possible. (they lose) Joey: Argh! We lost! We really are the worst... Scud: Hahahaha! Not we - but you! The next Wave Scramble cup was the DSOD Cup! The first team was Tea, Sera, and Yugi.

Tea: You're Aigami's younger sister? I'm Tea! It's nice to meet you! Sera: Oh...Hi...Umm...Yugi... Yugi: What is it, Sera? Sera: Are you okay that I'm on your team...? Yugi: Why wouldn't I be? We're going to have a great time today! Sera: Yes...Right...Yugi...Tea...I hope I don't let you down. Tea: You won't! But are you nervous? Don't be! If we get into trouble, Yugi will bail us out! Yugi: N-Now I'm feeling the pressure, Tea... Sera: Hahaha...It's comforting to know I can count on you, Yugi. (they lose) Tea: Aww, we lost. Sorry, you two. I dragged you both down. Yugi: That's not true. Right, Sera? Sera: ............ Yugi: What's wrong, Sera? Sera: Oh. It's nothing. It's just that...All we did was Duel together...But I feel like a whole new world has opened up. Tea: You don't need to make a big deal out of it. We're willing to Duel with you anytime you like! Jesse: Teaming with two HERO uses is gonna make an awesome Duel! Jaden! Aster! Let's do this! Aster: Yeah...I don't know how well your Crystal Beasts are going to mesh with our HEROES... Jaden/Yubel: You don't have to worry about that, Aster. Right, Jesse? Jesse: Yep! I'll show you that my Crystal Beasts have a special bond with your HEROES! Aster: Sounds like you have something special in store...Looking forward to it! (they lose) Jesse: We totally got taken down! Aster: Yeah...Even three Dueling fanatics put together couldn't defeat this Duelist. Jaden/Yubel: I never knew you considered yourself a fanatic. Aster: Why not? Can't become a pro if you're not dedicated to Dueling. Jesse: Hahaha! You're right about that! Jaden/Yubel: This means our opponent is crazier about Dueling than us! Jesse: That's a compliment, by the way. Aster: Yeah. The greatest of compliments. Jaden/Yubel: Me, Aster, and Jesse didn't hold back at all during this Duel. So defeating us means that you were really on your game! Thanks for the sweet Duel!

this is a CRAZY reach, i know, but! years ago, maybe around like... 6 or so? you posted about a fanfic on fanfic.net that was about the ygo gang at a christmas party, but it was mostly about kaiba, it could be read as a prideshipping fic but also normally too. idk if you remember it or even have it saved but for YEARS its been my fave yugioh fic ever since i found it through you but i, like a goofball, switched to a new phone and lost all my bookmarks, and i cannot for the life of me remember the name of the fic :') (ADHD problems gotta love em right?) i have the post saved buried in my likes but this is my desperate reach to see if you remember what fic im talking about HAHA

Had one of my usual weird dreams where Yugi lost his Star Chips, I THINK like in canon against Kaiba, in Duelist Kingdom, but instead of continuing on Bakura took his place. It was secretly Yami Bakura though, which suited Pegasus just fine.

There was also something about Gozaburo Kaiba being behind a door that Bakura didn't enter, but would have seen if he did.

Something Ive always wondered about Joey vs Marik is what would have happened without shadow magic? Because the only reason Joey lost was because he passed out before his final attack. If he had attacked he would have won. So no magic no passing out. No passing out no losing.

BUT without shadow games (ignoring everything leading up to the match that would have changed.) Marik would never had used that strategy since he only dueled to deal people incredible pain before winning.

Also what could Joey even do with Rah? Could he even use it? I mean his entire gimmick is luck so im sure if he just spouts gibberish for 10 minutes he'll have said the password eventually

In the Falsebound Kingdom video game Joey can duel and defeat Yami Marik but can't wield Ra (Ishizu can alongside Yugi and Kaiba), though the rules in that game are different from the card game.
