Aquatic Acquisitions||'Nitas and Le

The line had been long, but completely worth it in Leanne's opinion. Inside the aquarium it was much cooler, a pleasant contrast to the summer heat of outside; the building's lights had been dimmed both for easier viewing of the insides of the many tanks, and to further keep the temperature low and comfortable. Everything was tinted the blue of the water and quiet, as if everyone inside was making a conscious effort to be quiet.

Leanne pressed her nose against one of the giant tanks, peering inside and grinning. "'Nitas, come see--look. The fish are all so bright!" She tapped the glass gently, watching the bright orange fish closest to it flash away at the sound. "These are clown fish, right? The orange and white stripped ones? They're really cute."

She stayed like that for a moment longer, face pressed against the glass and just watching, before she finally pulled away and flashed him another grin. "What tank should we look at next?"

Hallen was humming lightly as he was making pancakes for himself in the kitchen.  He smiled as he danced around and jumped a little when he heard the doorbell ring.  He set the pan down and put on a low flame.  He rubbed his hands on his apron as he was covered in flour.  He opened the door and smiled as he waved, “Hey there!”
