So in the end, Elektra regained her memory, but at the finale, what does she really want with Matt Murdock?

Interesting question!!

Short answer? She just wants to be with him. 

Longer-ish answer? I think once her memories came back to her, it definitely opened up the strong possibility of some kind of reunion or at least acknowledgement of her feelings for Matt. I’m not sure Elektra ever intended for things to end this way…it was clear she didn’t want to die again, she didn’t want to be under anyone else’s control, she just wanted to LIVE and be free. But could anyone have expected the Defenders gang would try to blow up the building with C4 lol?? So with the finale ultimately bringing only one possibility to Elektra’s feet – facing death – she realized that the one thing she didn’t want was to face it alone. And given that circumstances brought her and Matt together into a pretty much guaranteed death scenario yet again, she just wants him. 

Now I started writing this answer BEFORE I read that lovely interview with Elodie and it seems that her take on the storyline pretty much aligns with my short answer take so…yay, there you go!
