Kylie and Nikki | Adjusting
Everything had been so different and yet very much the same. Kylie went off to train in the mornings, getting done quickly her requirements for SHIELD and then moving on to her own schedule and routine. After she was covered in sweat and could barely lift her arms she'd go back to the dorm where she'd shower. When she'd get out of the bathroom Nikki was usually back. They'd share some awkward conversation, some brief glances, but they were careful to never touch. Therein lies the glaring difference. Nikki had always been a physical person, and the comfort had always calmed her. But they barely made eye contact, much less physical. It was eating away at her.
