Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find dark shadows stuff in this god forsaken land??
Fun fact: Dark Shadows is called Night Shadows in the translation
Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) from the Dark Shadows TV series.

Dark Shadows (2012) 10/10
After a successful heir breaks the heart of a witch, he is condemned to be a vampire for eternity. Years later, he awakens to see his works in the hands of his modern descendants-who desperately need him.
This is a good movie to watch during October, obviously because it fits the theme of Halloween! It's very funny, and the jokes revolve around pop culture, and Barnabas' cluelessness about humans. This movie is actually based off the show 'Dark Shadows', but in comparison, the movie is more comedic and witty (I've never seen the show), whereas the show is more serious.
The Collins' house is very gothic, very intriguing to look at, as there are several shots of it in the movie. And the cast is cool too! Chloe Grace Moretz and Johnny Depp's chemistry is funny, him being the older heir, and her being the spoiled teen!
The story itself is very funny and dramatic, involving exes, love, and family. There is one particular steamy scene that's intentionally supposed to be funny, which I was dying at!
There are a few misogynistic lines here and there, mainly said by Barnabas, due to how old he was when he was turned and the time he was turned. Just a warning.
This is a great film to see around Halloween, and if you need a laugh, this is the film to watch! The plot, however, might be confusing at times, but nonetheless, it's a great movie!
10/10, I'd definitely watch it again.
