honestly they should’ve stuck out Willie’s obsession with Maggie era for longer

The deep trauma bonding from the entire first two seasons would’ve been INCREDIBLE build up for that to be a lasting plot line. Like think about it; the entire scenes with Willie just stomping around the house with a shotgun was peak cinema for a show who basically forgot his entire character for 7 months
