Is skin color better then personality?

So I've been talking to this guy for a while and we sort of hit it off. He has a great personality, he's nice, cute etc. 

He tells me that I have an amazing personality, I'm beautiful, smart, funny blah blah blah....

BUT....

WAIT..

Today he comes up to me and says "We can't talk anymore. I don't think we would work out.." 

So now I'm appalled, and I'm thinking "What the hell is he talking about?"

and of course I ask why ..

His response was

"Your skin color is to dark"

Really? 

First off I know I'm not light skinned and I'm not black as night either. I'm fairly brown skin. 

So. Since he is a shade darker then I am my response was ..

"Do you not realize that your darker then me? In the future What will you tell your daughter when she comes to you and say a guy didn't like her because she wasn't light skinned? Will you agree with him?" 

and of course other words were involved and he felt as dumb as he looked. 

So I walked away like a BOSS.

BUT
