I chose metroid fusion because it was the one with the most dialog (Not counting other m which is pretty bad,) but if you need to know samus's backstory it's a very super hero ish backstory, she was born on a space colony where her parents got eaten by a purple space dragon called ridley and was raised by the chozo (Bird ailens) and given her suit, i nthe first metroid she fights mother brain and in the second one she goes to sr388 to kill the metroids because they are dangerous but lets onelive
part 2 of samus's back story in the third metroid game she goes back to zebes (The planet in the first game) because the last metroid got taken by ridely there and they cloned it and she had to fight a much stronger mother brain but the baby metroid saved and protected her but died in the process.
That is very superhero-ish! Some of it give me Alien vibes too. Thanks for letting me know!
I definitely don’t mind liveblogging let’s plays, and I hope you and everyone else enjoyed this one, it’s about whatever you guys find interesting, I’m not sure really action focused games like Metroid make for the most fascinating commentary experience from me, but really story-heavy games might go more smoothly.
I’d definitely love to explore more video games like that, whether its me playing them on the PC or watching a lets play. Playing a short game chosen from the racial justice bundle might be a fun event to keep in mind for the future!
