Book Rec!

Not sure if anyone who follows me is a Buffy fan, but if you are check out this book for real!

It’s set in an AU where Demons took over Sunnydale years ago and all the most evil characters are living together in their own perfect slice of hell.

Not quite a spoiler, cuz it’s on page one but …

Warren dies (yay) and Andrew and Jonathan have lost who they thought was the only person who could protect them from getting murdered by vampires.

Luckily, they hear a rumor about a new Big Bad coming to town (Buffy) and they make a plan to put together a Suicide Squad group of the most evil people in Sunnydale to take her out … and hopefully gain the protection of their rogue’s gallery along the way.

It’s super fun and has all the cameos and ANYA is a main character… and did I mention that Warren freaking DIES on page one?

So I’m rewatching the extended edition of Fellowship and I realized why I was always so off-put by Arwen:

Liv Tyler speaks like Darla from Buffy and I saw Buffy before I saw lotr
