It started out as such a good day. I slept in, I woke up to a nice hot cup of coffee, I got dressed and went to go grab a grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup from the diner. And then I fuckin' dropped it walking out. Not to mention I have closing shift tonight. I hate December.

Now that Thanksgiving's over, will I stop getting dirty looks from people when I play Christmas music while driving?

It smells like turkey but it looks like Christmas. I don't think I've seen so many lights in one day, let alone on a holiday that wasn't actually Christmas. I'm almost afraid of Thanksgiving ending and Darlington taking this whole holiday thing full force.

Checking her watch, Madeline grabbed her guitar and made her way down the street to the park. She decided that she could make some drinking money by playing songs in the park, and on Fridays, O'Malley's. 

Placing a small plastic mason jar on the side of her, Madeline looked around. Not a ton of people were out today. She strummed a few notes before starting.
