The glacier in front of my eyes is Panchachuli, 5 holy glacier peaks of Uttrakhand. The bridge connects two tribal villages "Dugtu" & "Dattu" Inhabitat of the indigenous tribal community called "Bhotiya" or "Rung" if I speak local. They have their own gods & goddesses, speak their own tongue, a culture so different which rely on nature and have their own law and order of the mountains. . A heritage soon gonna die if not taken seriously or widely protected, the people of the mountains and their tribal tales, always fun to talk about, to click a picture with. . It is incredible to see and sad to say that this ancestry is neglected and soon will vanish with time and yet we adore the culture of the other-lands more than our own motherland. Talking of me, yes I neglected it for many years and this awareness came to me in the darkest hours of mind. .
