Art spam of a new idea--I introduce to you the Mixtape AU, because I totally don't have any other stuff to work on /sar

Take the drawing of my trio but canon base timeline and swap the trio's roles, and play around with their backgrounds.

Keith, Nene and Darnell are the schoolground trio who have been together through thick and thin ever since their kindergarten days, and they're are never up to any good. Where there's one, there's always bound to be the other two nearby. (Yes, they're poly, get used to it!!)

The Dankworth family never neglected Pico's dad here, and Adams would have Pico in a far better environment, surrounded in the safety of friends and family. Like his successful family members including his own father, Pico manages to grow up to work at one of the city's best law firms as a prosecutor, though his questionable tactics and diagnosed schizophrenia causes many to believe he isn't fit for the position. At some point he starts to think perhaps they're right, that is until he meets a certain girl with a passion for rap and music.

The Davis' are your average middle-class family living on the suburban outskirts of the grand city. Hard working parents and a reckless daughter whose dreams are becoming a grand singer. Cherry earns disapproval from her father, and although she works at a restaurant to earn something in the meantime, her heart and mind are determined to put her talents to successful use and prove Jeffery that it's not a waste of time and effort. Along the way to her success, she makes a lot of friends, enemies, and meets old faces she'd never think she'd see again

So how close exactly was Cherry to Keith before his death in the animatronic au? Is she still close to him in his current form even now? Was Cherry close to anybody else during her childhood before his death? Also was there any other youngin Keith shared a special bond with before his death? /gen

Close enough that she would call him Uncle Keith and talk about how cool he was with his Funkstaraunt at school with her friends. He was her idol, her inspiration, her best friend. Even after he died, she felt a closeness to the mascot ever since he first interacted with her that fateful birthday of hers. She feels the same closeness towards Boyfriend Animatronic as she did with Uncle Keith. Growing up after his death, a lot of people--her family and friends included--believed she was projecting onto the animatronic thinking he really is Keith (despite it being so) due to the pain of having lost him, and Cherry is aware of that, she always has been, and she understands. But she truly does feel something towards him. She can't explain it, but she's not the only one who feels this way.

Keith shared many connections towards regular customers at the Boyfriend's Funkstaraunt during his time, and employees too (as I've said before). Some of these people included were a ten years old Pico, Adams and Darnell. The latter often came over on the weekends whenever his mother was free from work, and he made a lot of friends at the place, some who were Pico and Cherry.

The former was often at the restaurant because Adams worked as the security guard and brought Pico along with him due to his anxiety of being left home alone. The little boy spent some time with Keith and other employees, and he'd grow somewhat of a bond with the singer, thinking of him as a secondary father figure and ultimately captivating Keith's heart when he overheard the little pup once refer to him as a "second papa."

There's more to it, but this is getting long enough for now : )

Just for the giggles, who among your cast of characters has the most cake on them? =3

I was about to say Keith because "oh this man eats half a cake himself and would beg for the other half," then it clicked and I'm. Oh. Oh you mean that cake ahsjsgh

Cherry (obviously), Pico, Otis, and Darnell. Yes Otis and Darnell have cake too because I said so. Leave me alone [-crying on the floor-]

Nene claims she has cake but she's really just naturally flat. Pico keeps telling her this only to earning himself a ">:OO HOW DARE YOU, YOU JUST WANT TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOUR OWN CAKE!"

Which is silly because Pico himself denies he has cake, then he turns around to walk off and- welp, cake.

May I perhaps hear some trivia/lore about the monster Keith that you currently have set as your banner? =D

Of course! I know you mean monster Keith but I need to explain hella lot more than just him to get to know what the heck's happening lol. Sorry about posting him and not really saying much about him at first, I was initially going to have him as my AU for October but, well.. y'know, life happened. Anyways! Long post!

The Crooked Kind AU

So, Reaper Keith, as he is called, is from a universe where humans and non-humans more or less live side-by-side in a modern-day world post-conflicts over each other's diversities. This includes really, any kind of monster--demons, vampires, werewolves, hybrids, angles, skeletons, sirens, you name it. (..wait a second this feels familiar..) In this world, because I can't seem to stick to the norm (and because I was suggested by a friend), reapers, although they can ironically reproduce with strictly each other only, have the ability to reincarnate as mortals and live for an entire normal human life for as long as they can last. However in doing so their memories of ever being a reaper are sealed away until their human life ends, where they will automatically revive back into their reaper self, albeit with some of their human features now.

That's not the only thing reapers are capable though--they also have the ability to revive as well. Yes, more irony. It tastes super good, what can I say? Anyways, their power of being able to revive comes with one disadvantage when it comes to humans (or advantage, depends on how you look at it). Upon being revived by a reaper, the human will not only gain their life back, but also with some non-human features as well. They can be any kind of mythological creatures' features, whatever that person's character matches with. Universally, reapers only use this ability when it comes to someone they're fond with, and that's only a minority. The majority tend to keep their distance from mortals as they stick with their traditional reaper ways of guiding life to death. Some, like Keith, just do their own thing.

The world may never know what Keith's original reaper name was, but at some point during his reaper teenage years he decided to reincarnate to live a mortal life out of curiosity. In doing so, he reincarnates as our favorite Himbo, Keith Burlington (God I love that name so much).

His early human life starts similar to his life in the Burlington Bounty AU, as he is friends with Pico, Cherry, Darnell, Nene. They all go to the same high school together, and the shooting still happens. But, that's as close as it'll get with the Bounty AU, you'll see why in a minute.

Firstly, not everyone of those mentioned as humans--in fact, only Pico and Nene are humans (but not for long!). Cherry is a guardian angel, Darnell is an archangel and Cassandra is a succubus. (Although he doesn't come in until later, Otis here is a half-werewolf, his father being a werewolf and his mother being human.)

Now it all starts off well for Keith when he reincarnates as a human--his life goes on normally with his humans parents, Scott and Michaela Burlington. Like in the Bounty AU he'll have some trouble at school socially and personality-wise until he meets his to-be friends, and it all goes really well! Not only does he have super cool and interesting friends but he's also got a pretty angel girlfriend! (Side note: thanks to their angel nature, both of Cherry's parents, Jeffery and Martha, are far more friendlier and compassionate compared to their Regular and Bounty AU selves, so when Cherry eventually explains to them that the trippy loco alpha boy from high school she somehow fell over and bled her nose for is no longer so loco, they're more willing to give Keith a chance, and it works out great for everyone!

Until Cassandra does her thing and starts shooting everyone up. Yep, everyone. Pico, Nene and Keith get caught in the gunfire this time, and they all die, along with a bunch of other classmates.

However, Keith automatically revives back into his reaper self, with of course, a lot of his human features now permanently present (and some sick tentacles as bonus for no reason!), and his reaper-life (GOD THIS IRONY TASTES SO GOO-) memories are no longer sealed away.

This, of course, shocks everyone at the moment. One moment their silly dork is shot in the head and the next he's a friggin 7-foot skeleton-squid thing. Thanks to his invincibility now, he manages to put up more of a fair fight with Cassandra and beat her to an unconscious state at the very least, and afterwards, being the empathetic person he is, he revives all of his classmates, including Pico and Nene, who all now have non-human features and abilities. (As for what Pico and Nene's are, I'll think of them more later as it's late and I'm getting tired writing lmao)

The situation is more or less controlled now. Cassandra is taken away with her Goth Punks, and everyone is pretty much grateful for Keith having literally saved them all. Hell, you're gonna see him on the national headlines this evening.

Oh wait. He's a reaper now. Right. Hopefully his parents don't freak out...

(Spoiler: They do. But they still love him anyways. Cherry's parents? Well, that's another story for later)

I'm tired and urge to draw this but just thinking about Keith's and Pico's bodies type and I could go on about them because I love them so much

Keith is naturally big on all ends and meaty to chew on, broad-shouldered and beefy whilst Pico is slim and naturally frail, but thanks to his past's lifestyle of combat and constant action he's physically more fit and "muscled" compared to Keith (he's got babygirl abs). Even though he's smaller he's capable of badly damaging Keith and possibly even coming out unscathed in a fistfight with how skilled he is in the form of fighting (not that they'd ever fight each other but I just love imagining shit yknow /lh)

Aaand because I'm obsessed with fantasying about male torsos I'm going to add in Darnell and Otis and Gibbons to the mix real quick too

Although not as broad as Keith, Darnell can pack a good punch if he put his heart into it. Not a himbo, but definitely closer to a hunk if anything. Otis and Gibbons are more lean than beefy, and may be the easiest for Pico to knockout. Combined, they'd all be average fist fighters minus for Otis who'd most likely chicken out.

Oh and just for the sillies Stephan would be the twink of them all. Obviously yeah but can you imagine him going up against Pico because he called him noodle-head? One uppercut and he's KO'ed

Random question but what are Keith's, Cherry's, Pico's, Darnell's, Nene's, and Otis' favorite meals?

Keith loves anything with meat as it's main course, his top favorite is steak

Cherry loves Italian food with cherry-flavored drinks specifically (there's always cherry-flavored beverages in the house)

Pico likes white rice and non-greasy foods

Darnell can have tamales everyday since he's tried them at a friend's house. Besides that, burritos

Nene loves kimchi. She eats everything with kimchi (the only food she knows how to make besides ramen)

Otis would have beans everyday if they didn't make him gassy. He probably has an entire cabinet filled with different kinds of beans. Bean addict. He'll have a can of beans by themselves whenever he's hungry
