His blade is called the Pride of Ixia, and he himself is the Pride of Ixia. Based on the Infern convo (not yet out as of writing this) he’s surprised an Ixian doesn’t know who he is, not in an ego way. How much rides on your shoulders Apollo? How does it color your (few) relationships?
Which did you notice first? The sword? Or the boy? Does it even matter?

the songs are so poppy and are giving apollo- i’m breaking this down i might not go over allll of the songs because i have more to say about some than others but nevertheless tloas is so very much APOLLO
⭐️ tfoo - darren. i don’t think further explanation is needed this song is about darren and how in one way or another he helped apollo not “drown” in the industry even if the whole process took like over a decade
⭐️ opalite - this is a tricky one because the references to haunting and ghosts made me think of nico but idk if this is a nico song?? so this was probably written with him and there’s a good chance he’s featured there. but yeah it’s about what taylor said it’s about making happiness for yourself with your loved ones which again could go for either apollo or nico but i’m leaning towards apollo because nico would’ve stuck to an onyx night as a part of his “aesthetic”
⭐️ father figure - oh my god, FATHER FIGURE. probably the most apollo song on the album?? so obviously his father was his manager which gives “you remind me of a younger me” and so many other lyrics such as deeper meaning because that is literally. his father. moreover, though, i think the end and the last chorus and the whole “i protect the family” thing is apollo reclaiming his family. becoming a real father to will will. basically adopting leo and nico and then starting a label- i imagine he could say at first “leave HIM with me”: about will after naomi’s death and the custody battle with his parents. then it transitions to “leave them with me”: leo and nico. and then “leave it with me”: the legacy that he’s made for himself separate from his father.
⭐️ cancelled! - i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again and forever: that is a classic nda and APOLLO collab. with references to the underworld and a very strong nico vibe
⭐️ wi$h li$t - this is apollo talking from a point of view of someone who’s had it all; he had the successful rich life and then the life with his family and he loved having his kids and then all that was missing is darren and then he had darren so yay he checked everything on his wishlist
⭐️ the life of a showgirl - apollo to nico and to sadie, and vice versa. probably instead of kitty he’d have said helios or something, but yeah apollo especially after starting delphi records

“The fuck are you doing here, Spike?” Daryan regretted the nickname as soon as it left his mouth. Made him sound too nostalgic, too fond, when he was really going for seething hatred.
Apollo stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray. Fuck, Daryan didn’t know he smoked. That’s kinda hot, an unwanted voice in the back of his head piped up. “Why wouldn’t I? It’s a battle of the bands. And I’m here with mine.” A smug smirk landed on his face, insufferable and punchable. “Didn’t know you still had one.”
