Rosemaster liked the Golden District. It was close to home in more than one sense, provided you got used to those strange... creatures... in the Netwalk. Fashion and luxury ruled here, just like they did in the Flower Kingdom. She could get used to a place like that.

She was on her way toward her usual hangout at Mermaid Cove Wall, passing the Boardwalk, when something nearby caught her attention. Or, rather, someone.

It was a red, one-eyed robot, and it was fascinating. She can’t help but walk right in front of it, stopping it dead in its tracks. She bends down to examine it closer, not even caring about her obvious rudeness.

“Oh, Glitchmaster would love you,” she says with a smile.

Well, if she’s going to be living here, she’s going to have to eat. Well, no, that isn’t correct. She’s a monster, and eating doesn’t do anything for her... but it’s comforting, food, and she could at least use the comfort.

With that in mind, she begins to walk from the brownstone townhouse towards the city she sees in the distance. She has no idea where she’s going, really, but she’s determined to figure it out.

...Until she soon becomes lost, at which point she looks around for someone nearby she can ask directions from. When she glances around the street, she spots... something unusual, standing right under her nose. Something she’s never seen anything quite like before. A red, boxy... machine?... with one eye. Another monster, like herself?

She smiles brightly, trying not to look confused as she looks down at the “monster.”

“Greetings,” she says. “I am Toriel. I am looking for a place where I may find food. You would not happen to know of such a place, would you not?”
