Once again we have been foiled by the hands of "these origin labels are all so close and yet just barely miss the mark," so here's yet another micro-origin coining post based on our experiences!
Agomisgenic: an origin term where a system or sysmate formed due to extreme pain.
Meant to be more general than physiogenic (specifically about chronic pain) but more specific than stressgenic (about any form of distress), agomisgenic is an origin term for when you form due to strong pain. This pain may or may not be chronic. It is geared towards physical pain, but may be used in reference to emotional pain as well.
The name comes from the words "agony" and "misery," as one might expect. The rough draft name for it was paingenic.
Example: after a surgery, we formed a few members who were agomisgenic. Darrell in particular helped us follow our recovery plan.
Vantgenic: an origin term where a system or sysmate formed due to non-romantic yearning.
Meant to be an alternative to "amourgenic," which was coined with romantic yearning in mind, as well as "attragenic," which is about attraction instead of yearning. The yearning in question can be any form of non-romantic yearning, eg. platonic, alterous, or familial.
The name comes from the etymology for the word "want."
Example: Mimi is vantgenic. Kitten missed his source friend very much, so she formed as part of his subsystem.
