gosh. still can’t believe that zagreus, skelly, and narcissus all have the same voice actor AND he’s also the composer of both hades games??? darren korb is an actual UNIT
Here's a link to a playlist with all the tracks released so far
Ballads of the Underworld concert was super cool!!! 😊✨️ Darren, Austin and the others were fantastic and looked like they were having a ton of fun. ❤️ We got there early just in time to grab some merch, and the Persona Anniversary Concert is later there too so I caught a P4 vinyl as well!!!
Zagreus says "mate" like its a slur. It sounds so wrong i hate it. The VA's accent is really really good but he just doesn't have the British heart 😔
bewitching eyes by darren korb song of the summer (yes i know it’s the middle of autumn)
It’s absolutely wild to me that Darren Korb managed to not only create nearly 4 hours of non-stop bangers for the Hades II soundtrack, but he also composed 11 full-length songs WITH lyrics, 8 of which are performed in-universe by a fictional band in the game, and those tracks in themselves are enough to be their own LP album:
Just legendary levels of commitment to the bit
“wrath of the heavens” gives me physical chills every time i listen to it, which is often, because i can’t stop thinking about prometheus. i know this isn’t his canon theme, but that slowly building tension, the mounting, dreadful anticipation, and then that burst of violent orchestral sound underpinned by the relentless bass line and the soaring flute notes at the crescendo’s peak; i can’t think of a better anthem for the titan of foresight who stole fire from the heavens.
