(Just wanna say the EXTREMELY GOOFY Movie yaoi review WILL be happening its just.. i havent gotten around to watching that one. I'm sorry I failed you all)
Short answer, yes. I mean I'm not gonna play this out they're CLEARLY yaoi, but theres many things to keep in mind about this case that may not be as easy as you might think.
This isn't no infinity train nonsense where its just BLATANTLY obvious that they wanna jump across the train and make out with each other at every second, heh... its a little more than that. Walk with me.
And one last thing before I start, if you're one of the danny smoke fans where they just comment a joke about his disability. Go fuck yourself, and then go die
STEP 1: UNDERSTANDING THE STRAIGHT WARRIOR (OUTSIDE OF MAINLINE FURRY LAND)
Just to put into perspective the man we're dealing with, Danny Smoke went through a LOT before the furry land. He's a widow you know...
I feel like bringing this up is very necessary since... he is a straight warrior after all. Danny smoke has, on SEVERAL occasions, attracted gay men
On his old tiktok account that got deleted, I am CONFIDENT that there was one of him defending a gay man, (As the warrior does) and then the gay man was attracted to him to which he responded that he wasnt gay (DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT HE WAS LYING.)
And also, Danny Smoke KISSED Goku, yeah sure it was evil danny but he was STILL the same caring awesome badass that we know and love.
and WHY did goku have to take off his shirt HUH?? He's been waiting for this.. you can tell.
The last piece of evidence outside of the main story I could think of is the furryland christmas special. Now I'd be lying to you if I didn't show ANOTHER instance of Danny calling himself straight, but we ALL know hes lying. If he WAS straight he'd probably be staring as Misa Amane. Checkmate Atheists.
The main thing I wanted to talk about was the Loner type shown as one of the character types in the special.
The entire segment with the loner type, Danny says that its his favorite, and he seems just oddly way happier while doing so. He says stuff like "Oh yeah." while he's drawing it and near the end its shown that the loner character he's drawing is CLEARLY supposed to be Marshall, and that he says about the character that
"He's a rude type, but he's actually.. probably only rude cause he...probably only rude cause deep down he cares.. cares even more than he knows.. its just that.. he probably got a deep down inside pain that nobody could ever understand.. because of how fucked up crazy shit it is.. cuz he's a badass type.. the type you could even call a.. cool guy rival.." - Danny Smoke
Even after the events of Danny Smoke In Furry Land Chapter 1, Danny STILL cares deeply about Marshall, in a gay way or not its clear he does.
STEP 2: UNDERSTANDING THE STRAIGHT WARRIOR (INSIDE OF MAINLINE FURRY LAND)
First of all he VOICES that he doesnt like being the kings pet but he does the motion of saying "YES!! YAHOO!!" ....which is it Danny...?
He also becomes really heated and upset when two DIRTY TROLLS call him gay.
He then unleashes his power and revives marshall, who died from Prince Britishimo in a sword fight with his "straight powers" yeah sure man.. whatever you say... and this is a little bit of a stretch with words but he BASICALLY chose marshall over his girlfriend
The next time he sees marshall he says "Marshall! I knew you cared!!" to which marshall responds kindly with punching him in the face,
STEP 3: UNDERSTANDING MARSHALL THE WOLF
(Yeah the shirt, look at it. Look at the shirt.)
Marshall the Wolf is a deeply layered character, and no one can tell me otherwise, but for our purposes I'll mostly be showing the GAY stuff. yeah thats right. the YAOI stuff.
Okay first of all, Marshall BRINGS Danny to a bar with a BUNCH of bikini women, and he FACES THE OTHER WAY. HE DOES NOT CARE FOR THEM, AT ALL. yeah sure he smiles at first but i'm PRETTY sure its only because he's about to drink some alcohol
Secondly, Marshall has a strong reaction from seeing the gay potion, he's clearly seen it before. its a touchy subject... thats all im gonna say I dont wanna give him PTSD
Marshall blushes when he wakes up from randomly fainting from alcohol and sees that Danny is dragging him out of the BURNING BUILDING, and EVEN THOUGH its a life or death situation, he has to push himself off Danny as soon as possible.
Prince Britishimo then sees danny and tells marshall
"Blimey! He is proper cute, in a gay way! I can see why he changed your heart on the hairless ones, innit!" - Prince Britishimo
To which marshall doesnt deny it but calls him a HORRIBLE SLUR, A HORRIBLE HORRENDOUS SLUR. okay we're not sure if its a slur but its GOTTA be
Marshall then saves Danny and like i said earlier, punches him straight in the face
And then.. the shirt incident happened... you already know what the shirt says... I dont have to explain myself to you..
THE FINALE
The finale is definitely the biggest piece of evidence we have I THINK at least for marsha;l's side. Danny is going to leave with that HOMEWRECKER SHADOW and Marshall doesn't want him to since he does care for Danny but he doesn't want to drop his cool tough guy persona and so he's fighting with himself to tell Danny that he cares,
He either had to give up his image of the awesome cool guy loner that works alone, or lose the only friend (AND PROBABLY CRUSH! GAY WAD!) that he felt like hes ever made in a long time.
Sadly Marshall wasn't ready to open himself up and so he had to fly away on his awesome ass green goblin device.
CONCLUSION:
Yeah sure they seem pretty cool guy rival yaoi

reason: Marshall is such a tsundere, also he has a shirt that says I'M FUCKING (hate) DANNY SMOKE but the hate is so small and close to the color of the shirt it just looks like a couple's shirt, and also there's kind of one-sided angst because Danny says he's a "straight warrior" and Marshall agrees, although Danny could've chosen to go back to his girlfriend (Zendaya) through the portal, he chose to stay because of Marshall bleeding out and and anyways, they're a crack ship of mine that became way too serious of a ship I enjoy.

The Furry Kingdom and its attack, Marshall's scar and his fall from grace
✧SO! Time for a rundown and some theories!✧
First off let's talk about the Furry Kingdom!
I am not gonna go into a ton of details here cuz there isn't much to talk about but we can say the obvious stuff: It's a monarchy reigned by King Magnus filled with anthropomorphic animals, the majority from what we've seen are females (the exceptions are: Marshall, King Magnum and the bartender that Marshall was sitting in front of,) also there seems to be a royal guard that Marshal is apart of and the princess was captured by the trolls.
Now that I mentioned the trolls, they seem to be from another kingdom in this world, (cuz Prince Britishimo has that title and also he said "the king says he's here." referring to Danny, that also makes me wonder how does the Troll King know? Was he the reason why Danny is trapped in this new world?) anyways this troll kingdom is probably near Furry Kingdom and because of it, it was easy for them to take the princess and run away with her.
They also took her to Furry Mexico, a place that doesn't sound like a place where the trolls live! So they took her to a more faraway and dangerous place than the "Troll Kingdom" (we don't know if that's the name of the troll's kingdom but it's probably that.)
Oh my that was a lot- uhm anyways-
Marshall and his backstory!
So, imma talk about everything we know about Marshall and add on it:
He lives in the Furry Kingdom, his village though was burned down lets say a couple of years back in the present by the Troll king and got a scar, he is part of the royal guard and knows how to use a sword and shurikens, he has a lot of internalized homophobia because he might be queer and maybe has a crush on the "The Hairless," he had a dad that was most likely killed by the King of the trolls (I don't think prince britishimo was the one who did it because Marshall didn't have a visceral reaction when he first saw him, but it makes sense that Prince Britishimo could've been told by his father about Marshall's dad just so he can piss him off instantly.)
Now let's first talk about his dad's death, he died when he was very young, killed by The Troll king. After this Marshall decided to train his entire life to protect his Kingdom and avenge his father, so he joined the Royal Guard, (maybe his dad was a guard too, so maybe he followed his steps) and he excelled at it and became King Magnum's number one guard and warrior...
Now that's interesting, Mary the fox, the one who told Danny and the audience about his scar story said "he used to be King Magnum's number one guard and warrior" so he isn't that anymore?
My theory is that when the Trolls attacked, Marshall failed to protect his village, also leaving the kingdom without its best warrior. He failed, and King Magnum doesn't like failure. (the only interactions between Magnum and Marshall was literally Magnum screaming at him and Marshal complaining.) So after this Marshall fell from grace, became just another guard and truly became a lone wolf...
OH yeah and his scar (that btw prince britishimo has two in both of his eyes), is very interesting, he has heterochromia (ironic cuz there is nothing hetero about this boy) a blue and a pink eye, and now yall might wonder "okay, where is this scar? His left or right eye?" good question! NO IDEA! Danny's style is inconsistent which makes sense but we can decide ourselves pfgjhgh.
From my observations, the most frequent is the left eye, usually blue, but in the flashback when he got the scar it was in the right blue eye- So yeah- pick your fave I guess.

So last night I had a wacky WD dream which has led me to believe that I:
a) spend too much time on Tumblr and
b) spend too much time on Tumblr and
c) spend too much time thinking about WD. And Tumblr.
I dreamt that I had a conversation with Norman Reedus in which I said to him, "You must be so sick of being asked the Bethyl/C@ry1 question."
He agreed and said, "Yeah, I am. Especially as Darshall is so obviously where the writers were going. How people missed that I don't know."
So apparently guys Team Darshall is still the way to go. Hope you all take your shipper glasses off and see that.
(And then he went on to insist he killed the Governor on a beach. There was also an orange bunny that was the cure to the virus (sorry Eugene) but it disappeared so I assume it claimed by Len.)
