it's always funny to realize that since I'm a guy from star wars I'm technically alienkin. like yeah ok but I don't really think of myself as a flying saucer type of guy. that's more hondo's thing

I just woke up from a dream that made me realize that maybe I’m not just a Maul copinglinker (star wars: the clone wars) but a full-on fictionkin. I still feel the adrenaline from the lightsaber fight in the dream. I don’t know the name of the person I fought and killed in the dream, but I know that we sparred often, and she would’ve done the same to me if I ever let my guard down, though we had a mutual respect for one another. I don’t think we talked much, and we sometimes went months without seeing each other, but each of us knew what to do when the other leapt out of nowhere with their lightsaber ready. I think that was a kind of friendship - although I admit I’ve always had a rather loose definition of “friendship”.

at my family’s thanksgiving dinner last night, we watched the phantom menace! I found out that it’s one of my younger cousin’s favorite movies, and that I’m his favorite character! I held those same opinions at his age. I’ve also found that I don’t connect to live-action darth maul as much as I do to my clone wars rendition. I was just… a different person before all that happened, yknow? also, almost a week ago now, I got a lego maul keychain! I also don’t connect to the lego version so much (and I’m not even sure if I see him as the same person as me at all), but it’s funny to have that grumpy little guy on a keychain.

maul copinglink-turned-kin here again. (by the way, could you please tag this and my previous ask as #🍵, or if that’s taken, as #🍵🦿💢?) I’ve seen several people say that I saw young Ezra Bridger as a brother. this is not true. he is annoying. with training, though, he could’ve made a good apprentice. not that I hate him or anything, I just… there’s this visceral reaction when anyone implies that I could replace Savage so easily.

Hey! It's Hux (and ironically Darth Maul) and I just wanted to say: I actually am very sorry for all the pain I caused, and all the lives that I hurt and effected negatively. In my canon I worked hard to make up for what I did, and even if it doesn't change what happened, I am still sorry.
