can u describe the species of them? like what is different from us humans & them.
I'll... try to keep this simple. >.> Disclaimer that I'm still working out some of the finer details of Anryuu biology.
Although Anryuu assume a physical form that looks human most of the time, that's not their real shape. Their "true form" is the dragon one— but for all three species, shapeshifting is part of their early physiological development. The "secondary form" typically learned in looks human (as the cultural idea goes, because early Anryuu learned that the shape was the most convenient and functional), but their physical function is very, very different.
Similar to synapsids, Anryuu are "mammal-like reptiles". They maintain a constant body temperature mostly through body size (gigantothermy), and don't reproduce through live birth. The presence of their Aura system allows for a variety of physical traits that defy the logic of non-fictional creatures, and is also a core feature of many of their physical, sensory, and magic-related abilities. They mature much faster than humans in their early years, both physically and psychologically, and are much, MUCH stronger/more durable than humans, even in their secondary form.
Between the three species, there are also notable physical differences. To name a few— Daryans are notoriously sturdy in either form, with dense bone structure and a lessened capability for flight; Dzlethians have highly flexible joints, and a second pair of wings in their true form; Ghiasuli have powerful lung capacity and broad wings that make them the best fliers of the three. All three species can also partially shift between forms, such as bringing out only wings or claws in a situation that calls for them.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Sprites Ranked By How Uncomfortable They Make Me
Trucy
Precious cinnamon roll, I want to protect her forever. The best companion in the series. Every animation is pleasant. 0/10 discomfort.
Daryan
Kinda cool, actually. Cool jacket, hair’s a little weird but fits the style...
NEVER MIND the hair is VERY weird and I HATE the how it wiggles. Actually an OK design except for this specific animation, which contributes several discomfort points. 5/10 discomfort.
Winston Payne
The Apollo Justice version of Winston is not my least favorite version- that honor goes to Pompadour!Winston- but I love to hate any version of this failure of an attorney. The forehead tuft really makes me sorry for him. 3/10 discomfort.
Stickler
This guy feels like a bad Tolkien elf self-insert OC. This pretty eyes and tiny lips grate on me, and his idiotic holier-than-though, panty-stealing personality doesn’t help. 7/10 discomfort.
Dr. Hickfield
Who at Capcom decided this creep needed to return? Who decided that in this game he was going to be an actual doctor instead of a pervert patient? 9/10 discomfort.
Brushel
I physically recoiled from my 3DS screen the first frame this guy showed up. And then he did weird little head tilt. Bad, but unlike other AA characters, not quite so outlandish that I haven’t met people like him. He’s right in the uncanny valley, with his egghead and blue stubble and hideously defined blush. I was eager to move on from his case and then he returned as a key player in the final case and I shuddered. Plus he does this:
10/10 discomfort.
We're back! The sing was cool! It was like a mini concert in game, sweet.
Oh my gosh his hair..👀😅
Oh!!! Now I get it! He's a shark!!!
Truly is too cute!! Again, please don't tell me a out her identity yet... I actually had to do a quick save because I wasn't sure about the evidence here. 😅
Oh, no. Oh, no!! I'm so bumbed that's they gave a name. I don't know, maybe it's still the jeweller. Ughhh, just don't tell me yet! It's all going to come together when all the episodes are done, I just know it!
Also, it makes me very happy to see Charlie 🌱

* Roleplay history
The rules are simple! Post ten characters you’d like to roleplay as, have role-played as, and might bring back. Then tag ten people to do the same (if you can’t think of ten characters, just write down however many you can and tag the same amount of people). Aside from that, please repost instead of reblogging!
