Covered California Enrollment Period Extended

If you are currently without health insurance, you could face hundreds of dollars in penalties this tax season.

If you have yet to purchase insurance, Covered CA is providing an additional enrollment opportunity for those who were unaware or did not understand there was a tax penalty for being uninsured.

This additional time to sign up ends April 30, 2015. When filling out an enrollment application, be sure to select “Informed of Tax Penalty Risk” to verify you didn’t realize there was a penalty.
