Because you’re the most likeable person I’ve ever met in my whole life! Sure, but Scooter only made plans to kiss me first because I was there to talk to first, he said so himself, and the second I said he should kiss you instead he dropped talking to me altogether so that says more than enough, doesn’t it? You two are so adorable already but I’m not surprised, you’d be adorable with anybody! Are there that many people admitting feelings to you nowadays that you don’t know who I’m talking about? Squeaky Smee, of course! They told you they liked you last year but this year they said they like me now so that’s… good, right? I shouldn’t feel intimidated by the fact that they’ve already liked the best girl in the world and might just be settling now that you haven’t shown as much interest in them as you have in other people while I’ve made myself so available, right?
Well of course, it’s probably uncomfortable to beg a girl to kiss you when she’s trying to pawn you off on her best friend the first chance she gets instead! He probably only left you alone because he thought it was your polite way of turning him down after all. And um, no, not that many, but... I maybe didn’t mention yet that I kissed both Scooter and Myles after the kissing party? Myles was just so adorable, telling me that he wished it had been me the bottle had spun instead, and I got so overwhelmed and didn’t know what to say so I guess I just... kissed him thank you? But oh gosh, I hardly even know Squeaky! We’ve only talked a couple of times; I thought they were very interesting from afar, but it must have been such a superficial thing on their end, just like it was on mine. They talk to you all the time, I’m sure what they like about you must be so much less shallow! I doubt it’s about you being a backup plan; I’m sure it’s just getting to know you and realizing you’re actually far more interesting than I could ever be!
