    “Rainbow Dash, where in Equestria are you taking me?”

The yellow pegasus was being shooed along by her eager counterpart, who insisted that they hang out today. She noticed that she was especially excitable today, for some reason. She guessed that she would find out soon enough.

“Goodness, you’re acting like we haven’t seen each other in years.” Fluttershy giggled, trotting at a steady pace to keep up with the other. // @dashiie​

“ You. What else?  ”

  It was an honest answer. Luna didn’t have to be genuine with it, but there was nothing to dance around anymore.   She also could’ve just shrugged & said nothing, and get away with it too. But she didn’t want to. There was no point hiding the reason for her fond looks, or the soft smile that grows on her face every time her eyes met hers.

Cue Rainbow hovering up next to Luna's ear, only to lean in and whisper, "Hey, anypony ever tell ya you've got a great butt??" It's been nice knowin' ya, Rainbow.

           Flick  of  an  ear  /  light  swish  of  tail,  there  comes  only  silent  glance  as  immediate  response.   What  unorthodox  compliment.   Crude,  many  would  proclaim  :  how  dare  thee  speak  to  creature  divine  with  tongue  most  foul ?   How  uncouth !   And  yet  ‘pon  star — speckled  features  of  Her  Majesty  nocturnal  sits  naught  but  lightest  smile,  cyan  hues  beset  with  amusement.  

        o’  nightly  monarch,  she  knows  prismatic  Wonderbolt  /  expression  with  little  filter,  nay  constraint  when  words  are  determined  to  leave  her  throat.   It  sits  familiar  in  an  ancient  heart  :  youthful  reflection,  traits  shared  even  now.   Bold  and  stubborn !   Both  of  them,  albeit  one  chained  by  etiquette  demanded  of  royalty  (  as  though  it  ever  did  stop  her  ).  But  not  now,  not  here.   Nobility  has  no  say,  and  thus  beloved  princess  responds  in  kind.
