Bathroom:
How does the character prepare in the morning? Meditating, a vigorous morning workout, a hot shower, and a small breakfast that most certainly included some kind of meat item. Probably bacon with some fruit and one egg on a piece of toast. Not really small, but it’s small for him.
Do they sing in the shower? Probably not. There’s lots to think about in the shower. Probably about the day ahead of him, all the paperwork he’s been stuck with, maybe have a daydream or two. I imagine he takes long showers because the feel of running water feels soothing for him.
What kind of hair product/make-up do they use? Styling oils for that beard of his, gotta keep it clean and well-groomed. All those braids. Don’t need them breaking on him. He likely has super thick hair and has to manage it as best he can. Maybe a subtly-scented oil too.
How clean is this character? Impeccably clean, though if he’s in a fight then all that cleanliness goes to shit, because he sweats like nobody’s business. Then it’s just one more shower added into the daily routine where he can fit it in.
Does the character have thousands of shampoo/shower gel bottles by the shower, or do they use only the bare essentials? Not particularly thousands, but quite a bit, yesssss.
Character introductions
The novel I'm working on tells the story of three young adventurers who, essentially, survive an apocalyptic start to their travels. Here is a brief introduction to our heroes.
***
Her name was Datari Furita. Just over five feet tall, she walked haltingly, like a toddler unsure of her next steps. She was polite, she cooked, she had the gentle touch of a healer, and yet those she traveled with were uncomfortable around her. They accepted her gifts, but avoided her striking green eyes. When she took to the saddle, soldiers 10 years her senior saw that she was a better rider than they would ever hope to be. She was a shaman of the horse tribes, but the seers set her on another path ...
***
His name was Pidir. A fairly simple lad, he had long believed in the simple truth that answers could be found with the proper application of force. His family had a history of great adventures and heroic deeds, but had settled into more peaceful roles as merchants and farmers. Pidir never missed a chance to hear those tales of the past, and now word was that war loomed inevitable. Pidir's father knew his son was not going to take up a plow and hope the rest of the world took care of itself. He made arrangements with an old comrade ... Pidir would be trained by the Blademasters.

Her name was Ilondra. A shadowy figure, she moved with the grace of an elf, though her features appeared human at a glance. She was often cloaked, and kept to herself when given a choice. She carried her bow strung and ready everywhere she went, and more than one would-be bandit learned the hard way that her eye was keen and her hand steady. When the group traveled, Ilondra moved alongside them. When they camped, she was on the outside - whether keeping watch or simply avoiding the proximity of those sharing the campfire was impossible to say.
