WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
Lol.
9. A drunk voice mail. [Voice Transmission In Progress] "Riiiiiikuuuuuu." Was it possible for program's to get drunk? Apparently so, with the right combination of errors in one's system. He knew he should have been more careful when attempting to edit out Sora and Roxas' memories from his data, but... Well, the thought is there. It's simply slow and sluggish and he doesn't really want to respond to it.
"Riiiikuuuu, I got-- I'm a little-" Soft laughter. "I gotta'lil lost inside you..."r system. "I's t' big. Everything looks th'same." "...Bu'm fine. S'good. I like it here. I don' wanna go back. S'warmer here. Lo's more colorrrsss. Hate white, y'know? Shtupid." Friends don't let friends drink and drive?
␛, ϡ, ✿.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, riles dataxas up than people not living to their full potential. When he sees someone complaining, or hesitating, or just knows that they aren't really living up to who they are, he will push and doggedly attack that person into expelling whatever the stupid issue is so they can act like they should, rather than some irritating shade of it, instead.
He has absolutely no patience, so he really isn't the best person to go to for a pity party (although he does have his softie moments, usually for his real self).
Send ϡ for a MENTAL STATE headcanon.
FUBAR. Dataxas is torn between being a program (more of a firewall than an actual functioning, independent system) and the emotions of the memories that are his to hold and guard. He's ANGRY, he's LONELY, he's far more vulnerable than he ever wants to admit to people and he expresses that by lashing out and being a snobby little brat, as well as overcritical of those he cares about.
The little gigabyte personifies less of a mental illness than he does the five stages of grief. He's grieving real people. People who have been lost, who were forced into situations that required heavy sacrifice. There was never really a denial stage, but right now, he's stuck on anger. It's something he can't let go of, and it's because of this that he's so determined to see people at their full potential. Because better one day like that than years of hiding, only for it all to come to nothing.
Send ✿ for a HAPPINESS headcanon.
The little sweetie is happiest when he sees people achieving something, which is why rrg suited him so well. He really delighted in the players, and in regards to his existence as a whole, day six was probably the most rewarding thing to him.
Cause he got to cheer lots of people on and talk to them and goofily send them messages. :B
Shimeji [[open]]
With the dataspace in full repair and Riku still disputing the idea of upgrading, rather than placing the entire system in hibernation, Roxas was left with little to do and nothing to take any frustrations out on. But it wasn't all that bad, really. He may as well just go for a sneaky little stroll across various electronics, a little Shimeji appearing at the corner of people's desktops and screens and gradually making it's way across the system, climbing in and out of folders both publically accessible and private. Some people should listen when they're told to use capitals AND numbers in their passwords. [[Said Roxas shimeji is available here]]

"Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?"
Silly Old Bear
Stubborn program. He'd seen this coming a mile away. Riku was like...well, like a human, obsessively seeking the perfect system. No flaw, no mistakes. And he'd made a huge mistake, whether he'd willingly shown that to the Players or not. Why else would he even teasingly take Roxas on as hired help? Why else would Roxas accept, really. Crouching down beside the prone form, the coding is practically gleaming. He must be finished the updates by now... "Come on you, up we get." A comforting murmur as he slings one of Riku's arms over his shoulder, carefully taking his weight. Can't exactly carry him bridal style, can he?
