Unexpected things to happen in the last 24 hours:
take out a motherfucking Zeppelin (in Fate - an RPG game like D&D, but with more story and fewer rolls) ON MY OWN I LITERALLY HAD NO HELP WITH IT AND TOOK IT DOWN IN ONE TURN YEAH I'M AWESOME
get dumped by my boyfriend
join a Pokemon based D&D game (I never played Pokemon and only know "10 year olds go into the wild to catch magical animals and train them by fighting other 10 year olds' magical animals?")
stay up until 5am listening to my friends drink Jager bombs with one shot of Jager and several cans of Miller light between three people
spend the night (with five other people) at a friend's parents' house while they're away (she was dogsitting, so we played there)
attempt to cook breakfast in a kitchen clearly stocked by someone who thinks that all meals should require no more than 3 ingredients and 3 steps to prepare. And preferably come in a box or freezer bag. (WHY WERE THE SPICES SPREAD ACROSS THREE CABINETS?!? WHY ARE ALL THE SKILLETS WARPED?!? WHY DO YOU HAVE A BAG OF PIZZA ROLLS BIGGER THAN MY HEAD?!?)
fail to start the car...
...even after applying gas and a jump start...
...until the kind AAA man does MAGIC CAR THINGS and makes it start.
get lost on the way home while the guy riding shotgun sticks his feet out the window so he can reach his pocket (don't ask; they need to clean their car out SO bad)
So yeah. I thought you were supposed to get those sort of adventures out of the way in undergrad, but apparently my friends and I are late bloomers. Go figure.
