It starts with Daisuke berating Reiji for going off on his own, being reckless, not contacting anyone, etc. Reiji may or may not be arguing back depending on how little life preserving instincts he has lol
Somewhere in his ranting Daisuke admitted that he would've followed Reiji anywhere if he'd only asked. Yes, even if that means going rogue from the Galaxy Police. Yes, even into hell itself.
When Reiji asks him why, Daisuke yells out in exasperation, "Because I love you you fucking idiot!" Then pins him to the closest vertical surface and kisses him. Reiji is shocked at first but almost immediately starts kissing back and it turns into a makeout sesh with groping and all
Also this is occurring while the Omegahorn cast is watching. They are watching the argument with interest, then when the makeout starts Shout and Giriko scream in horror and cover the twins' eyes to preserve their innocence while booking it outta there. Enkaku has to be dragged away lol
Soon the makeout sesh goes from a vertical surface to a horizontal one and clothes start flying off
Reiji gets slightly insecure about his "performance" because while he's had lovers before none of them were Daisuke (whose opinion he cares much more for compared to everyone else he's taken to bed), and because once they cross that line there's no turning back. But Daisuke just reassures him saying that he knows Reiji will take care of him and Reiji gets all revved up again lol
Sometime during that Reiji switches from using Daisuke's nickname (Taisan) to using his actual name and it drives Daisuke into a frenzy, especially when Reiji uses it to profess his own feelings for him.
Daisuke later wakes up, alone in bed, somehow dressed in his pjs. He's despondent for a moment, thinking maybe it was just a one night stand or maybe even a dream, but then he hears fabric rustling in the room.
He gets up to see Reiji getting dressed... but instead of his outfit when he was with the Ibaru Alliance, it's his original outfit from Gavan Infinity. Daisuke watches with a wide smile as Reiji dons his red jacket and picks up his Gavarion Trigger and Gekido, who titters in excitement

Reiji turns to look at him and smiles back. He leans over Daisuke to press a kiss in his hair. Shout and the others need him, but he couldn't leave without saying goodbye and promising he'll be back. Daisuke, in return, promises to wait for him.
After one last kiss, Reiji runs off and when he gets to the battlefield, he fights off the mooks hassling Shout and co effortlessly untransformed. The Ibaru Alliance member of the week calls "Reiji the Ironclad" out on his betrayal, but Reiji just smirks. "I'll show you why I called myself that," he says as he activates Gekido to put in his Gavarion Trigger. "Jouchaku!"
Meanwhile, Daisuke watches the footage of Reiji transforming into Gavan once more with a proud and relieved smile.
After his transformation Reiji re-introduces himself, to both friend and foe, now clad in his red metallic armor. "Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity! On patrol in another universe!"
