My love and I went on a 4 mile hike today, what’s really wonderful about this hike is how steep the up hill parts are and how much it changes with the seasons. It’s gorgeous every time though.

I beat my daily calorie goal!

The last three days I’ve done a really good job, I’m hoping this coming week will show more of this activity for me.

Today my love and I went for a short hike.

We wanted to do a longer one but my seizures were pretty hectic this morning so I had to sleep until about 12 and couldn’t really function until about 4pm, also there was a sign for a cougar siting in the area so we wanted to get back before the sun started to go down, this meant we only had time for the shorter hike this time,

After the hike we went grocery shopping together and then came home and made home made macaroni and cheese with salad. We also shared a cream soda.

Now I’m working on cleaning the rat cages and hoping to still have time for some art before bed.

I think the first day of 2024 has been a good one.

I hope you all had a good first day of the year as well, but if you didn’t, there is always tomorrow to try again.
