After Taric closed up the bar, he met Monroe outside and they walked to his apartment, which was in the building across from Taric’s...
TARIC- “Wow, nice place. Just a one bedroom?”
MONROE- “Yeah. I sold my house in Oasis Springs after my mother passed away and decided to move to the city. I like it here. It’s quiet, no nosy or noisy neighbors. So you want cream in your coffee?”
TARIC- “No, just a little sugar.
They sat talking for what seemed like just a few minutes, but in reality it had been a couple hours. The sun was starting to come up.
TARIC- “Wow, it’s 4:30 in the morning! I really should be going. Thanks for the coffee and conversation Monroe, you are really a great guy.
MONROE- “No need to leave yet, want another coffee?”
TARIC- “Oh, no, I do need to sleep sometime today, I have to close again tonight.”

Taric was telling Conrad the truth about work calling. After he left Conrad’s house he stopped by the Karaoke Bar and had to to a little bar tending, as one of the bartenders had to leave early...
As he walked in this handsome guy was sitting at one of the tables alone...
MONROE- “Hey Taric...”
TARIC- “Hey’ (Taric had no idea who it was, but he seemed to know him.)
MONROE- “You bar-tending the rest of the night?”
TARIC- “Just for a couple of hours, until we close. Clive had to leave early, family emergency. You want something to drink?”
MONROE- “Sure a Zesty?”
TARIC- ‘Come on up to the bar...”
As Monroe made his way to the bar, Taric couldn’t help but stare at this attractive older guy....how did he know his name. He wasn’t one of the regulars. He CERTAINLY would have remembered this guy.

Taric goes around the bar and sits next to Monroe.
MONROE- “You make an awesome Zesty, Taric. Maybe you should think about looking elsewhere for a job. I mean you are really good. And you look incredible.
TARIC- “Thanks, but I don’t think I’m all that.”
MONROE- “You’re kidding me right? You are very good-looking and not to mention that ass...LOL I mean you would do really good at a gay bar.”
TARIC- “I don’t know, I really don’t need that much drama in my life.
MONROE- “Maybe you just need a man in your life....”

MONROE- “Your shoulders are really tense, you under a lot of stress?’
TARIC- “Not that I know of, other than I really don’t like my job and want to do something else. The thought of having to go back in there tonight and close makes me anxious.
MONROE- “Life is too short, man, you should do something you enjoy doing. Here maybe a little massage will loosen you up a bit. Your shoulders are really tight.”

TARIC- “Yeah, I’m working on that. Putting myself out there and dating more, but it’s hard. I mean there are a lot of great guys, and of course some really crazies, but how do you know?”
MONROE- “Know what?”
TARIC- “Whose the right one.”
MONROE- “You are asking the wrong guy here. I recently just started dating again too, and I really have no clue. So you want to come back to my place when you get off and close up, we can share some coffee and more conversation.”
TARIC- “Sure...Let me clean up around here and I will meet you outside.”
MONROE- “You are an incredible lover, Taric.”
TARIC- “That was amazing...I could lay here with you all day.”
MONROE- “I would have no problem with that at all....”
