Eryn knew that the hot springs were a mixed one, so she wasn’t too surprised when someone of the opposite gender joined her. Regardless, though, she was still understandably nervous when she saw the other enter the area. “Oh, um, hello there...”

I'm stretched for answers and I have no idea where to go. I'm stuck in the Haunted Manor of 'Hyperdimension Girl Quest' and I'm not sure where to find the next switch. I managed to get into the room with the doll who asks about the floor tiles in the main room (which I gave up on) but I have no idea where to go. I've been clicking on everything I can to no avail. What do I do?

Alright, so, before I give you an actual answer and point you towards someone who has a more updated view on that particular area, let me tell you that the Haunted Manor is an optional area (as far as I am currently aware). You don’t need to complete it.

The doll is actually the only way to progress, there’s no way you can actually get past it without getting the correct answer. She’s asking you to count the colors you see however many times they appear, and input that number in the order of how she asked you to find them. That’s the answer to her puzzle. Once you do answer correctly, something in the main room should be changed (I believe - it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been able to go through that area).

Now, I point you towards @datheroluka, the person who actually made the game! I beta tested his (great) game to all hell and back, but he’s the person who has every answer to any question you could imagine. I do hope you can find the answer on your own, of course. I can’t remember the number combination myself, gomen.
