↖ - The diary entry from the day our muse’s met.
Your muse has found my muse’s diary!
I am going to skin that worthless mongrel mutt alive with my bare goddamn hands! I do not know how he found out about my dairy, or even why he was looking for it in the first place, but I come to write my next entry in it only to find that damnable cur reading it! Naturally, I destroyed it (and used the opportunity to blast him straight to the Dark Hospital), yet even so! I am so furious right now that I have half a mind to burn Tartarus to cinders and dance upon the ashes!
And yet, I cannot. It would be remiss of me to destroy her employer after she ended up mortifying herself (with the Barbarian’s help) in her efforts to secure her position here. So for now, I shall stay my hand. Yet I swear on all the Netherworlds yet to exist, I will play jump rope with Fenrich’s entrails if he gives me even the slightest bit more excuse to do so.
I am truly a changed…whatever I am now. Had I been a mere two decades younger, I wouldn’t have hesitated to annihilate everything the wolf knew and loved for an invasion of privacy such as this. The Child and the Barbarian are terrible influences. The fact that their employer is cultivating their insipid behavior isn’t helping.
Valvatorez…formerly a “Tyrant”, now a prinny instructor. A sardine-obsessed half-wit that happens to be disgustingly competent. His type of creature is one of the most difficult for me to deal with, as he is not only just as infuriatingly stubborn as the Barbarian, but he also believes and binds himself too all of the nonsensical drivel he spouts out. There is no reasoning with such a being; there is only handling.
If I must give him credit for any one thing, however, it is his ability to keep his composure. Perhaps he had suspicions to the truth beforehand, yet even so, I cannot imagine that he knew that Rozalin contained within her the soul of “The God of All Overlords” herself. Despite that, he hardly seemed perturbed at all. I can respect that, if only a little.
Our little chat back then was surprisingly civil, for what it was. I still am not entirely sure, but I believe he and I reached a certain…understanding. It is only a matter of time before he betrays the Child, of course, but I think it shall be slow coming. For all of his faults (and they are many), he does seem to have some smattering of perspective. It is a rare gift.
Naturally, our conversation came to an end when the bloodsucker’s pet burst into the room, for as we have already established, the furry vermin has absolutely no concept of privacy.
Writing all of this down, I find my thoughts turning to what may happen when the Child’s usefulness is finally spent. No doubt the vampire and werewolf have cooked something up. Even so, so long as they respect the Child and keep out of my belongings from now on, I suppose I shall have to continue to stay my hand. For now.
But if Fenrich makes me destroy this dairy too, I am almost scare myself with thoughts of what I will do to him.
