Hello hello! I’m back again with the Dating Got7 series. This is an answer to @mazying ’s request. I enjoyed this so much since JB is my Bias 😶 Hope you like it. Bonne lecture.

Okay let’s stop the tape here and rewind to how you two met

You were a rapper in a rookie girl group and had some hard time dancing, it just wasn’t your thing

You had to practice backstage before any show even if all that was left is two minutes

That one time Got7 were there and they were supposed to perform after you

JB thought you were cute in your little bubble practicing the dance not even seeing your sunbaes there

And when you performed he knew he was wrong

“She’s not cute, she’s a badass rapper.”

He was so under your spell his eyes didn’t leave you the whole performance

He didn’t even know when it was their turn to go up stage

He still did a good job hiding his growing crush for few months

The boys were so shoked the day he announced going out on a date with you

“What? Y/N from Y/G/N? You mean Yugyeom’s bias?”

A death glare is directed then to the poor boy.

“No… I mean I just like her rap…”

He actually asked you out secretly the night before after your performance

To be honest the only reason you said yes was because it was a secret date neither your manager nor his were aware of

The thrill of the forbidden was all it took you to say yes

You thanked God you said yes because the date was amazing

You went to the movies and watched an old movie with great cinematography

He said he wanted to share with you some of his passions

He was the sweetest gentleman

Bought you every kind of street food

Loves that you’re not ashamed of your big appetite

You’re still cutely small next to him

Your disguise was somehow efficient

Nobody recognised you

Thus, the cute walk in the park wasn’t spoiled by fans running around

You continue to go on several secret dates thanks to your free schedules

But soon came the comebacks and tours to put you apart

Only physically because you still had secret phone calls and video chats

The boys and your own group members played a good part in keeping your relationship secret and saved both your asses few times

But then one day you finally met because your schedules kind of crossed and some fans took pictures of you

Hell let lose

You got scolded by your manager

His company was against the relationship because you were from different labels

But Jaebum stood up for his statement

“It’s either her or I leave.”

Not like he was going to really leave but that was the maknaes idea of what to say if things go bad

“Hyung, all you have to say is that one line that makes people gasp in movies:’ It’s either her or I quit.’” Says Bam Bam

“They can’t give up on you, or us on that matter.” Yugyeom says sure of himself

“And we’ll say: ‘It’s either him or we quit.’” Says Jackson, faking a serious look, making everyone laugh

Getting hate is normal but you can cope with it as long as you’re together

One day after coming back from the tour, you find out that someone broke into your apartment

The scariest experience ever

He ends up moving in despite your refusal

“Babe I’m fine. You don’t have to.”

“What do you mean? Are you fine with people breaking into your house? When I’m not with you to protect you?”

“But it was just some random thief and he was caught. There’s nothing to worry about.”

“Stop talking nonsense. My luggage is packed anyway. You just have to spare me some space in the dressing and chose your side on the bed.”

When you’re not busy with schedules, you either go on a morning run or spend the morning cuddling in bed till noon

He loves it when you wash is hair

11) You live across the street from your bias group’s dorm and they still haven’t invested in curtains

Type: Fluff/smidge angst

You leaned further into the center of your desk, trying not to let your chin slide from your palm. It was close to midnight as you finally adjusted your gaze from your notebook and up to the window sitting just on the opposite side of your desk. The blinds were still wide open, your arms much too lazy to tug at the dangling string. You eyes danced across the glass, noting the smudges and tiny insect carcasses long since dried up on the outer screen. Eventually the blur of the outside world seemed to solidify as you became more in tune with the whir of the few cars intermingling on the road. Your eyes lifted from the street, focusing on the building only a stone’s throw away from yours. Seoul was small and quickly growing, so nothing was incredibly far apart, and the only way to grow was up. This also meant that you could see easily into the building facing yours. 

You tilted your head, furrowing your brows a bit to see more clearly. The complex across the way was owned by the same property managers that owned your building, so you often saw it’s residents in passing at the communal mailboxes. The man you now saw lounging on the couch was someone you hadn’t recognized, but you weren’t surprised. It was widely known amongst the tenants that you had celebrities in your midst, idols to be exact. You had seen a few of them on occasion, incredibly good looking, even when in every day clothes and checking the mail. 

This man was no exception. 

As soon as your eyes laid on him, you knew his status. He was too handsome to be an average, every day citizen. No, he was definitely one of the idols rumored to coexist amongst you all. 

You watched curiously as he chewed idly on shrimp chips. his hands deep in the bag while his eyes stayed glued on the television screen mounted to the wall. For a moment, you began to feel increasingly creepy, realizing you were in essence, casually stalking a neighbor. You quickly calmed your concerns as your eyes remained unmoved, realizing that if he moved his line of sight slightly to the left, he could see you just as clearly. 

You lived in a culture of watching each other. What was the difference between googling this guy and pulling up his wikipedia page and watching him in live action? 

Jaebum knew you were watching him again. He tried to keep the sly smile off of his face as he continued to glance at you from his peripherals. He knew you as Y/N of Apartment 1733. Student by day, barista by night, worried mess by late am. He knew more about you than he was happy to admit, but had also noticed you much sooner than you had him.

He tried to ignore you as you stood from your school work, dragging a tired hand through your hair. Much like him, you worked strange hours and never seemed to get enough rest. It made it convenient for him to monitor you from afar. You were very obviously one of the most beautiful people he had ever seen. You weren’t conventionally attractive or cookie cutter, but that’s what enticed him. You were unique and authentically you.

Jaebum openly turned, setting his attention on your window as you paced behind your desk chair. He had never been affected by a girl in this way before, so his thoughts were in a flurry. Usually his naturally cold and serious nature, which his members noted as “chic and sexy,” was enough to catch any girls attention. He had never been one to struggle with smooth pick up lines or come up with a plan, but they had never existed in a completely opposing space before. 

As he noticed you begin your nightly rituals, signifying you were going to bed soon, he began to panic. He needed to catch your attention and fast. He stood, with shaking hands and a pounding heart and quickly began to disrobe. He pulled off his hoodie and t shirt and slithered from his jeans. He only stopped once he was in his boxer briefs and tank top. He sauntered to the window, still lacking curtains even though he had lived there for months. He gave a good stretch and waited patiently. Maybe it was a last ditch effort, using his body and it’s lack of clothing to entice you, but hey, when words failed, who’s to say that visuals would?

You stretched above your books, attempting to get ahold of the string dangling above your blinds. You looked up for a moment, nearly choking as you caught sight of him. The mysterious idol you had been keeping an eye on had appeared closer to the glass separating the two of you, near naked. 

You traced up his features. Your eyes started at his toned calves, rippling under the pressure of his thick thighs. Both sat beneath his impressive bulge, which your eyes were quickly drawn to. They lingered there for a moment as you finally looked up, tracing the thin cotton of his tank top. Next you noticed his broad shoulders, only to go back down and focus on his veiny biceps and forearms. After you were content with your inspection, you let out a pleasant sigh, forcing yourself to acknowledge his handsome face. 

You audibly swallowed as you were suddenly overtaken by the feeling of being watched. You stared in horror as you realized, he was watching you just as closely as you were him…and he was actually chuckling. 

You cringed as you began to walk up to the small mail area in your apartment complex, trying to decide if you wanted to turn on the spot and jog back upstairs. You were mortified by the broad shoulders you had grown familiar with in the past few weeks, too accustomed with who they belonged to without having to say a word. 

Instead of running, you decided to tiptoe quietly behind him, making yourself as small as you possibly could as you slid your key into the lock of your box. Of course the universe, which had let you quietly exist for so long, would not allow you to do that now.

“Hey,” his deep voice said softly. 

You closed your eyes for a moment, trying to decide what to do. You reopened them, turning to look your neighbor directly into the eyes. He was already smiling at you, a grin that was very obviously trying to hide a chuckle behind his lips. 

“Hi,” you breathed shortly, averting your gaze back to the mailbox. 

“I don’t know if we’ve met. I’m Im Jaebum,” he hummed with a bow. 

“Not technically,” you groaned, slamming your box shut and pointing to the label on the front. “I’m Y/N. 1733, but I think you know that already?”

Jaebum’s face fell for a moment, completely caught off guard by your comment. It took a few seconds, but a smirk found his mouth again as he searched your face. “I’m used to an audience.”

“Ugh,” you moaned as you turned, ready to escape back upstairs. 

“Wait, Y/N!” he called, his voice urgent. You immediately stopped and looked over your shoulder. 

“What?”

“I hope I can keep your attention.”

Jaebum slung his arm halfheartedly around the random girl’s shoulders. He had already forgotten her name and was pretty bored with the conversation she presented, but it has been almost a month. Almost a month since he had pulled his stunt and finally made eye contact. A month since he had ran into you getting the mail and tried to continue contact. A month since you had given him even more fuel to continue his quest. He had a plan. 

And admittedly, it was a shitty one. 

After he thoroughly disgusted you and caused you to flee upstairs, he immediately kicked himself. The envelopes nestled between his knuckles became crumpled with frustration. Why couldn’t he have just asked you out for coffee or something? 

Then again, maybe it was too late for that. 

He looked up lazily from his date’s face and to the window, making careful note that your blinds were open, a sight he hadn’t seen in weeks. His next stunt could either ruin that or send you back his way. He wasn’t certain yet. His brows lifted as he saw your familiar frame plop into the chair situated directly before your window. You cast a wary eye his way, freezing as you saw his date on the couch. 

Jaebum took a deep breath as he pulled his date closer. Lindsey? Luna? Lynn? Whatever her name was he needed to act quickly. If he were going to make you jealous it better be before you closed the blinds. He grabbed at the back of her neck, holding her steady and halting her words. Without any coaxing she leaned into him, closing her eyes in preparation for a kiss. Jaebum’s eyes searched her face, uncertainty filling his veins. He remained still, unsure if he could actually go through with it. He looked over his date’s shoulder and back to your window. You were still watching. 

Jaebum shook his head, muttering a quiet curse as he let go of the girl’s neck and fell back onto the couch. He ran a wary hand through his hair and groaned. “Get out.”

Once again, the dim girl rolled with his punches, standing and collecting her things. After she had left the dorm, he sighed, looking up toward your window again. He was ashamed of his actions and sick of playing games. 

He was ending it now.

You furrowed your brows and squinted, continuing to watch Jaebum scramble around his apartment. He had just kicked out a girl prettier than you could ever be and now seemed to be drunkenly tearing apart his dorm. It was strange, but so was this whole situation. 

After a few moments, JB finally halted his motions and stopped in front of the window where he made eye contact. He beat on the glass to further catch your attention. You gave a brief nod, signaling that you were engaged with the exchange. He immediately pointed to the street and hurried toward what you thought to be his front door where he stepped out into the hallway. 

You heaved a sigh as you slipped on your shoes and tugged on a jacket, you couldn’t believe you were humoring him. 

You reached the street before he did, tapping your foot as you waited impatiently near a street lamp. The road was quiet tonight, only hosting the occasional car down it’s pavement. You sighed again, checking your phone before you looked up, jumping at the sight of Jaebum as he had appeared directly across the street from you. 

You lifted your brows, shrugging at him. 

“I couldn’t do it,” he called out, his voice carrying just enough to be heard over the sounds of the city.

“It or her?” you yelled back, rolling your eyes. 

“I wanted to kiss you,” he whined, the noise sounded foreign to even himself as it escaped his lips.

“You don’t even know me,” you called.

“I want to,” he shouted. He nodded with a hopeful smile. “So then I can kiss you.”

19) You ride the subway every morning, not talking to your bias who sits beside you day after day. You begin talking when your morning commute doesn’t go as planned.

You heaved a sigh as you shifted your weight from one foot to the other. It was early still, the station half empty with only a few salary men wandering around the platforms, anxious to begin their day. You looked up, the sensation of being watched heavy on your shoulders. 

Normally, being a woman in a big city, you were always wary of men who sat too close, stared a little too long, or in general entered the box of personal space you had designated yourself. Seoul ranked twelfth in the world on a list of the most dangerous cities for women to ride public transportation systems, but this wasn’t a thought you wanted to constantly reflect on. For a city that was in general one of the safest you had ever lived in, the subway systems still caused you to bristle up, overtly aware of every person who came too close for comfort. 

You looked around slowly, careful not to make any eye contact with those around you. If you looked into the eyes of one of the salary men, it was almost guaranteed that they would take it as an invitation to pester you. 

For a moment, your eyes froze, meeting up with a man around your age. You didn’t know his name, nor had you ever asked, but you were very aware of his presence. He was easily one of the most good looking individuals you had the pleasure of seeing on a daily basis. You quietly coexisted, riding the train every morning side by side. He flashed you a brief smile before looking back down at the worn novel in his hands. You nodded to yourself, biting your lip at the small exchange. Quietly telling your stomach to calm from the butterflies he had stirred up, you readjusted your book bag, urging your train to arrive. 

You winced, noticing a different man in your peripherals standing from a bench just out of your direct sight. He slowly waddled toward you, round faced and much older. You hissed out a breath between your teeth, praying to every God you could think of to keep this creep from entering your personal space. You glanced up slowly, catching your reflection in the sleek glass doors that kept passengers from the open subway lines until the train arrived. In doing so, you caught his reflection as well, his body so close you could smell his body odor. 

HIs eyes were fixed on you, unafraid as he stared into the glass. As the only two individuals in the front section of the platform, the hairs on your neck bristled up with unease. You looked over warily to a very evident sign posted, warning men to not sexually harass women, a small stick figure included. So much for that. 

The man moved a bit closer, the front of his body nearly rubbing the back of yours. You shut your eyes, quietly reminding yourself of self control and turned, eying the man with a glare. The man’s eyes widened and he slowly took a step back until you turned back around, focusing on the glass doors again. The subway alert sounded, signaling the next train’s arrival. 

Thank God.

Just as the doors began to open, you decided to take a quick sidestep, wandering to a different train car to get into. Surely this man wouldn’t have the audacity to follow you halfway down a subway platform. You took a corner seat near an exit and settled in, hardly believing your eyes as your unwanted companion had entered through the same doors, seating himself beside you, ignoring the near desolate car around you. 

You thought you were going to openly cry in public. You had never been so frightened in your entire stint in living in Korea. 

“Excuse me sir,” a deep voice said calmly above you. You looked up, noticing the familiar, yet handsome stranger you had made eye contact with earlier. He clutched his novel, his knuckles near white from his grip. “I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but may I take the seat next to my girlfriend?”

The salary man remained quiet for a moment, looking from him to you. He nodded briefly before pulling himself to his feet and sitting in the set of seats across from you. 

The young man plopped down beside you without hesitation, placing a careful arm behind your shoulders to rest on the seat without touching you. 

“Hey babe,” he said, just loudly enough for the man to hear across the isle. “How was your morning?”

You looked up through your lashes at him, hoping to convey a silent thank you. “Productive, I got a lot done before heading to work today.” 

“Good, good,” he nodded with a small smile. “You’re taking the four o clock train home, right? I’ll meet you at the station.”

You looked up from your hands in your lap and over to the man across from you. He continued to watch carefully as you and the stranger conversed. “Yes, four o clock,” you repeated. 

“I’m Jaebum by the way,” the stranger whispered below his breath, shooting a careful look to the older man as well. “Sorry if this is a bit much.”

“Y/N,” you nodded quietly. “I’ve missed you Jaebummie,” switching your tone to speak loud enough for the man to hear. 

“You saw me yesterday,” Jaebum smiled, having to stop himself from rolling his eyes. 

“Even too much is never enough,” you chuckled, so thankful for his presence. The stranger stood, shaking his head as he shuffled down the subway car that had launched forward. Nearly falling over, he struggled down the car, taking a spot much further down from you. 

“What a disgusting human,” Jaebum grumbled, now able to talk normally with your newfound freedom. “You know he’s been watching you for the past week?”

“He...what?” you croaked, angling yourself to face Jaebum. 

“I mean, inadvertently I’ve also been watching you for the past week,but I feel like I’m significantly less creepy,” Jaebum muttered, shooting a dirty look at the man. 

“How did you notice?” you said carefully. 

“Well, I like to be at least minimally aware of my surroundings,” he sighed. “I tend to get lost in a novel I’m reading, but I don’t want to miss my train-”

“That’s why there’s an alert,” you muttered, but immediately felt bad for interrupting. 

“You don’t know my focus,” Jaebum smiled. “But as I’m reading, about every five minutes I’ll do a casual sweep of the platform. This guy didn’t start showing up until recently, so I’m guessing he’s gotten a new job...or switched his commute habit because he saw something he liked...

...or someone.”

A shiver ran down your spine as you listened to Jaebum speak. You couldn’t help yourself as you glanced to the man at the end of the train, his eyes never leaving the two of you.

“I never thought he’d have the nerve to actually approach you though,” Jaebum sighed. “What did he say?”

“Nothing,” you shrugged. “He never said a word.”

“He was practically sitting on top of you!” he gasped. “I even saw your little diversion tactic. Quick on your feet.”

“Thanks,” you grumbled. “Not like it mattered much. I was a damsel in distress without even realizing...I thought I could handle myself.”

“When push comes to shove, I’m sure you can,” Jaebum nodded. “But I didn’t want push to come to shove. Not while I’m just idly standing by.”

“You’re a real gentleman, Jaebum,” you smiled. “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.”

“Gentlemen Jay,” he smiled, waggling his eyebrows. “I don’t have any sisters...but I do have a mother...I would hope for someone to protect her if they were in that situation as well.” 

You nodded, realizing you were easily becoming wrapped up in this man’s smile. If you would have know what a wonderful spirit he had, you would’ve talked to him much sooner than now, not allowing for a traumatic event to bring you closer. 

“Now when do you head home?” Jaebum asked. 

“Why?” you sighed, looking at him curiously. 

“Well, we get off at the same spot, so I’m assuming we’ll be around the same area. I don’t know if we’ll head back at the same time, but if you don’t mind, I can send one of my friends to ride along with you,” Jaebum hummed. “I’ve got this friend Jackson, very into chivalry, would lay his life on the line for you if he had-”

“Jaebum,” you chuckled, immediately shaking your head. “We’ve only just met, I don’t want to be an inconvenience.”

“If something were to happen to you...at the hands of him,” he sighed. “That would sit on my conscience for the rest of eternity, Y/N. Please...just let me arrange something...”

“No,” you repeated. “I’m fine.”

“Okay, maybe you don’t need someone riding home with you,” Jaebum continued. “But you’ll take my number and use it if anything gets a little sketchy, right?”

Your heart leapt at the thought of having Jaebum’s phone number in the depths of your mobile. You quickly nodded, snatching the opportunity in case it wasn’t presented again in the future. You fished your phone from you purse, handing it to JB as he typed quickly into it. 

“And of course you’ll let me sit with you in the mornings,” he sighed, handing you back your phone. “At least until this creep picks a new route.”

You smiled, feelings your cheeks become warm with all of his concern. “Why are you being so nice?”

“To be honest?” Jaebum said quietly. “I noticed you a lot longer than he did.”

“Oh, so this is a weird territorial thing?” you asked, furrowing your brows. 

“No, well, I don’t want it to sounds as gross as that,” Jaebum laughed. You smiled at the sound. “I’ve just...I’ve been fond of you without ever actually realizing I was. You’re an oddly soothing, unchanging factor in my shifting life. I can always count on the pretty girl to be standing at the subway every morning, backpack over her shoulder, and hairs out of place.”
