IT (2017/2019)? I literally said “meh” when my friend asked me how I liked Chapter 2. Then I sat on it for a month and eventually crept over to Ao3 like “..those characters though.”

Isn’t it the worst? It’s so awful that school anxiety is so deeply ingrained in us that it still is embedded in our subconscious years later. There’s no escape! Twenty years from now I’ll probably still be wake up once in a blue moon thinking “SHIT, I SLEPT THROUGH THAT IMPORTANT TEST!”

Man, I really hope that changes though. I mean, I don’t want to put TOO much pressure on myself to outdo myself, and I know it hasn’t been THAT long since I wrote it, but I’m ready to be proud of something else.

7. create a character on the spot…. NOW!

GOD I WAS DREADING SOMEONE ASKING THIS ONE. Honestly, creating original characters is the hardest thing. I’ve started two original things at this point, and I’m not feeling much attachment to any of the characters I’ve made so far. I’m just...not a person who can dream up characters off the top of my head super easily.

So in light of that I’m going to cop out and just talk about one of the characters in my current original project. (And even that is going to make me feel like I’m standing in front of class in my underwear, so like...don’t judge me please.)

Her name is Marlena, and she’s a witch (??? I think, I’m not sure if I’m calling them witches yet, don’t quote me on this). She’s also kind of a little shit. Her mother died when she was a teenager, and she thinks that this mafia-like magical organization was behind it, so she’s been doing everything in her power to be a thorn in their side since then, which basically means she commits a lot of crimes that draw unwanted attention to the magic world. And then one day a non-magic police officer picks her up for something, and she decides to use him to help her take down this Magic Mafia (which I still haven’t named, idk idk). 

*deep breath* And now I’m never talking about this ever again eep.
