THE PLACE WAS HOT... and unfamiliar. The long stretch of land was gorgeous, but also terrifying. Getting separated from her family had left Rosy trembling and chewing her bottom lip. And Jenna was COUNTRIES and OCEANS away, being dogsat back in Nome. What was supposed to have been a fun safari trip had gone wrong, it seemed, and now she was in the middle of a land she had no clue how to endure. Small hands were clutched close to her chest and she w h i m p e r e d, though softly. But a deep breath was taken after a few moments of stillness, gathering her courage. Rosy wasn’t scared! She was brave! She would find her family!
Though the rustling of bushes behind her caused her to wheel about on small feet. Dirt kicked up and she began to slowly back away. Okay, maybe she w a s scared despite her meager thoughts to otherwise. Her heart was thudding and blood racing -- could whatever was out there smell her concern? Perhaps, though she tried to think of other things to calm herself. Maybe it was someone from the safari come to find her. Or one of her PARENTS, even!
“...Hello? Mommy? Daddy?”
