@daughterofbard / @aantivan | send me a ship & I’ll answer the following: (accepting)
who starts putting up decorations in october?If Sarah does, Serena takes them down because decorations aren’t allowed up until after Thanksgiving! But as soon as Thanksgiving dinner is over, all bets are off.
who buys the advent calendars?They both buy each other advent calendars, it’s more fun that way.
who places mistletoes all around the house?Serena, and then she points it out whenever Sarah and her boyfriend are underneath it. (Both of them carry around a sprig of mistletoe to hold over Brian and his girlfriend whenever Brian brings a girl, though, because what else are big sisters for.)
who wraps the presents for other people?Sarah. With the exception of their gifts for each other, usually Sarah wraps presents in the kitchen while Serena’s doing her Christmas baking. They do it at night while everyone else is sleeping, put on an old Christmas movie or some Christmas music, and chat while Sarah wraps gifts and Serena bakes.
who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree?Neither of them -- Tilda’s the youngest, she always gets to.
who’s the one that hates eggnog?Neither of them, they both like eggnog.
who’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests?That’d be Serena. See the above answer for the way that the twins get this Christmas baking done.
who sends out the christmas cards?Both of them together, of course.
who knows all the words to Twelve Days of Christmas?They both know most of the words, but Serena always mixes up the six geese a-laying and the seven swans a-swimming, and Sarah always forgets what’s on the ninth day of Christmas.
who’s the better snowman builder?Brian’s better than both of them, honestly.
who starts snowball fights?Pfft, whoever can make a snowball faster!
who’s the one that wakes the other on christmas morning by playing christmas songs really loudly?Whoever wakes up first wakes the other one up. But not by playing Christmas songs, by jumping on top of the other one in their bed until they wake up. They’ve done it every year since they were little and even when they’re adults coming back to Ma and Da’s house for Christmas whoever wakes up first will go jump on top of the other one to wake them up. (Significant others are always warned about this tradition so that they make sure they’re *ahem* wearing something they don’t mind their girlfriend’s twin sister seeing them wearing in the morning because chances are they’ll get woken up too).
