Alright, then may i req, general headcanons or scenarios of the father-daughter relationship with Atsumu and reader? With the reader ending up liking volleyball and becoming a libero (or any position you want) like nishinoya? being able to to that setting in mid air and all. I really enjoyed the part 1 and 2 of it! i wanna know what happens next too :>

-Okay so it is obvious that Y/N and Atsumu's relationship had a rocky start.
-And while they are getting along and trying to start from scratch, there are a lot of issues, along with resentment, that haven't been addressed.
-Y/N still doesn't feel 100% comfortable being herself around the setter. She's been alone most of her life and her trust has been broken
-Atsumu has commitment issues, and while he is trying, he has a small resentment towards Ava. Sure, he was the one that walked away but at the same time, he feels Ava should have persuaded him or forced him to stay and put in the effort.
-He also has a lot of guilt towards his daughter and he simply feels sad for missing important parts of his child's life.
-Both are very stubborn and sometimes very petty. That’s when Osamu has to step in and become the mediator. A lot of tough love going around.
-Both need patience, time, commitment and simply empathy
-Y/N desperately wants to build a relationship but she doesn’t want to force it. Atsumu should understand that she didn’t need him before, meaning she is independent and doesn’t need to be smothered.
-The same applies for volleyball.
-While it is an activity both can share and create memories, Y/N wants her own space.
-Volleyball wasn’t one of her first choices but seeing her father happy made the girl try it out. (In the end, she ends up loving it)
-While blondie is tall, Ava wasn’t, so Y/N’s height isn’t one of the best virtues… but she tries.
-Turns out being a libero is the best position for her. Yet that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have setter blood running in her veins. She easily dominates both positions.
-Because Atsumu is a professional player, Y/N is exposed to many practices with professionals (MSBY Black Jackals = crazy supportive uncles), therefore her skills improve very quickly.
-Very soon, she’s playing on a team and going to nationals.
-The setter is the most proud dad in the world. He brings everyone to watch and support his daughter. Osamu is the proudest uncle.
-Weekends consist of father-daughter quality time. Whether it is playing with the ball or simply going out for ice-cream
-Because he lost Y/N once, Atsumu is completely afraid of losing her again so he ends up being very protective and tries to over-compensate everything.
-His daughter has a small bruise, he forces her to stay in bed and no more practice.
-Boyfriend or guy friend? In your dreams, while Y/N is living under his roof, she will obey all of his rules.
-Is not that he doesn’t trust her, he’s just afraid. As time goes by, he learns to let loose a little.
-Overall, with a little effort both become an inseparable, incomparable team.
