Cass' mother Eukene was the personal bodyguard of the queen of Nerusa. Like many others, she died during the sack of the famous Amazon sea port trying to protect her home.
And she rocks Odysseus' helmet... 👀 Might steal it for her.

I'm actually working on the story again. Writing hasn't worked well the last time, so I chose to build for the next chapters.
Now, foreign story teller Amaunet is ready to show you the place where she spends most of her time! The Arythion library
First and maybe most important, a large space at the entrance to research and discuss where others can see you - if you're educated, you gotta show it off, right?
More learning space and of course, lots and lots of scroll shelves, only loosely arranged by topic.
The historical and political section is better organized - it's the most used one, after all.
Two royal ladies visit the library regularly, queen Aoide of Borathion and princess Phyllis of Santrake with their little reading group. They have been provided with a more secluded area to pursue their studies. It's safe to say all of them prefer it that way!
Finally got to use @forgotten-pixels' conversions and @kyriat-sims' debate scrolls and Amphythronas portraits!
Safety is a top priority here
The evening passes fast with some quality time for the tribe members. A cozy campfire, a tasty snack and a lot of jokes and conversations. Who could want more?
In theory, Pedaios isn't allowed to join in but not even Faidra would send an excessively cute toddler away (if he doesn't bother her)
Phila sits with him nevertheless and listens to his stories. She knows that they aren't equal in status but for now, he's just a child
Sun rises and Thersandros appears to make breakfast for everyone. No surprise here, he's always the first in the mornings. Supposedly, he enjoys the peace and quiet for once.
Deia and Eos are next... aaand Eos doesn't feel all too well. Oh yes. Wonderful. The kids have imported another plague
Chapter 2.08 Preview
“Shit! That entire council’s meeting was a waste of time!” Rheia kicked a stone and watched it landing a few steps to the side of the queen mother's cultivated little sitting space.
The bodyguard on duty, Masa, shot her a warning glance.
“Why did he even call for us when he had already made a decision? Just to force us to help pay those foreigners to do my job?”
Herchion opened his mouth but froze, then closed it again. He swallowed and took a deep breath.
Lyta sighed. She had hoped for more influence in the council than just haggling down whatever they were supposed to contribute in terms of silver and warriors.
OC tag game!
I've been tagged by two people, @kyriat-sims and @forgotten-pixels. Thanks, you two! I really enjoyed reading about your characters 😁

Safe to say that Rheia is angry about something. Just imagine her kicking a stone
I have come to a point in writing that the text still needs a lot of improvement, but it's good enough to start making poses
