Book Question Tag !
Hello there ! :) I was tagged by read-it-and-sleep to do this. Thank you !
Rules :
1. Always post the rules 2. Answer the questions the person who tagged you wrote and write your 11 new questions. 3. Tag 11 new people. 4. Tell them you’ve tagged them. 5. @ me so I can see your answer
So, here are her questions :
1. Who is one character that you can seriously relate to (personality, looks, actions)?
I've been thinking about this, and actually, I'm a mix of characters ^^ I can seriously relate to Annabeth Chase because we've got pretty much the same personality : I'm as quiet and rational as she is, and she doesn't let people walk over her, neither do I. I've never criticized her decisions, like I do in some books, so I guess I can relate to her actions. I've also got Gwendolyn Shepherd's (Ruby Red) clumsiness and the sarcastic side of Sophie Mercer (Hex Hall). Physically, I haven't found yet a character who looks like me, I suppose I'm just unique xD. Well, obviously I can relate to Tessa Gray's love of books ♥
2. Do you have one a comfort book? One you can go back to again and again, so much that its practically memorized?
Sadly, I don't think so. I have never really been the type of person who rereads books a lot. I might say the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series because I know it very well.
3. Whats one book that really made you question life/society?
Wonder by R. J. Palacio. If you've read this beautiful book, you might have questioned the reactions of the society to August, even wondered what would be yours if you had come across him.
4. DROP AND GIVE ME YOUR OTP!! And why if you wanna?
OTPs ? Malec, Percabeth, Wessa, Fourtris for obvious reasons ^^
5. Doo you have a book that you like but aren’t sure if anyone else does?
Maybe The Selection, because some find this book too cheesy and the main character, America, annoying.
6. What was the book that really got you into reading?
The Lightning Thief. First, I watched the movie when it came out, and I really liked it ^^ After, I heard that it was a book-series, so I read the first one and realized how bad the movie was compared to the book. And here I am, with my undying love for Rick Riordan's book, a few years after, reading tons of wonderful books :D
7. What is one character you wish you were more like?
I wish I were more like Tris Prior, for her mental force, I think.
8. What is one fictional world that you wish you could live in?
I don't know if it's really a fictional world, but I wish I could live in the demigods' world. I know that there are monsters and all these creepy mythological creatures, and that you don't live really long being a halfblood, but, gosh, that would be an exciting life :)
9. What is your favorite childhood book?
It might be The Little Prince, because I remember liking it a lot, but I think the fairy tales my parents read to me before bed were my favorite ones.
10. Do you ever imagine yourself in the books you are reading? like as an extra or a friend or, shoot why not, the main character?
Yes, if I'm really passionate about the story and all, I can easily imagine myself as a friend in the book :) Sometimes, I just feel like going into the book and slap a character for doing something stupid, or, on the contrary, just hug them because they're so cute ^^
11. For hardcover books, do you take the jacket off while reading or leave it on?
I don't read that much hardcover books but when I do, I always take the jacket off because when I don't, it slips out of my hands, and it gets on my nerves ^^
My 11 questions for you :
1. Is there a book that you will never read, even if it was the last book on Earth ?
2. Do you associate some musics with books ? If so, which ones ?
3. Do you have any weird habits with books ?
4. If you could pick up a character to be your best friend, who would it be and why ?
5. What is the most scary book you've read ?
6. What is your favorite genre ? Can you explain why ?
7. What is your favorite book/series from this genre ?
8. Is there a character that you can't stand and why ?
9. Do you often cry in books ? If so, what is the book that made you cry the most ?
10. Can you share one memory while reading that has left a mark on you ?
11. If you were lost on a desert island, and if you had the chance, what book would you read for the rest of your life ?

Okay so I'm thinking of reading the book series but am not to sure yet can you maybe tell me more about it or why it's any good or anything really anything because I'm like 90% sure I want to just want to know a bit more about it :) thank you x x x
hi! i'm gonna try to explain why i personally love the series as best as i can lol, hopefully this won't be too long.
i'm gonna start off by saying that this series is probably my favorite YA series. one of the things that i love about the mara dyer trilogy is the plot line: it's so interesting, and it's like nothing that i've ever read before. short synopsis: mara dyer is the only survivor in an asylum collapse, where her ex-boyfriend, best friend, and enemy died. she moves to florida, and she starts having these weird hallucinations of seeing her dead friends; she doesn't know if she's going crazy or not, and the reader doesn't either. it's basically centering around her time after the asylum collapse, when weird things happen to her that she can't really fathom yet, and things that we don't really know to the full extent.
second thing: characters. the characters are so real, it's literally like they are in the room with you (at least that's how it is for me). there's humor, there's angst, there's inner conflict, there's man vs man conflict, there's just so much going on with the characters, and they are so well-written.
third thing: i personally love michelle hodkin's writing style. she manages to use metaphors in just the right places, without overdoing it and making it sound cheesy. it's also not a very predictable series in my opinion, so you're not sitting there expecting whatever event to happen.
so yeah!!! sorry this was so long lol
