Hospital Bound //Victor and Roxanne//

Victor woke up grogily and looked at the person standing at his bedside. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the summer festival?" When he had woken up after being shot, he had suffered some short term memory and hadn't been able to remember anything about the shooting or what had happened earlier that day. The last thing he had remembered had been going to bed the night before and then waking up in the hospital with a gun shot wound in the shoulder.

It had been days since Carrigan had been taken for interrogation by Victor.  He may have still been in that interrogation room had the leaders not decided that he didn't know anything.  Or maybe it had something to do with the fact that somebody had shot Victor.  All Carrigan knew was that after days of knowing nothing but pain, two guards picked him up from the cell, and dragged him to the pit and just dumped him there.  He wasn't sure how long he lay there.  There was nobody around because everybody was at the festival.  He whimpered, actually whimpered,  in pain as he tried to move, actually whimpered.  Damn him, but Victor had worked him over bad.
