Like raw lyrium is supposed to be incredibly volatile. Being near it is very dangerous! And being near it when you're a mage is supposed to be FATAL.

And then we're just... walking on lyrium bridges. My poor Mage!de Riva is just like "I would die for you, Harding!" And Harding's like "bet" and took her to a fucking magical nuclear reactor.
