how does gpa work? i've always been curious abt the american system

gpa stands for “grade point average”

the highest gpa that you can earn on an unweighted gpa scale is a 4.0 which means that you got an A average in every single class that you took that semester / year / whatever. a 3.0 is a B average, 2.0 is a C average, 1.0 is a D average, and 0.0 is an F average. you can get any number in between too. you could have gotten A’s in some classes and A-’s which would give you a gpa between 4.0 and 3.0.

some schools use a weighted gpa scale which usually goes up to 5.0. they add more weight to harder honors/ap classes, i think? i’m not sure because i’ve never been in a system like that.

for some reason i can see junkrat as a kind of will o the wisp type deal, drawing ppl away from where they should be going (but that's more of a ghost than a monster so?? hm) they tend to appear as flickering flames too so i dunno it just feels right
