he did. it comes as a surprise because he’s #EmotionallyStunted. initially he’d try to suppress statements and feelings like that, and even if he was gearing to officially say “i love you” to me, he would want it to be special. either way, one day, it just comes slipping out of his mouth without notice…like he’s looking at me fondly, and i’m smiling and laughing like a loon at something stupid, and suddenly, there it is.

“god, i love you, you absolute idiot.”

there was lots of blushing and sputtering (mostly on his part) afterwards.

man ngl. we’d be bad at flirting. him because he tries hard to be suave, but it comes off as awkward. me because i can’t take things seriously. he’d probably use terrible pick-up lines, throw in some italian words, but the moment i go all “your freckles are sooo cute :3” he’s done for.
