After several attempts at getting an AI image generator to produce Muppet versions of I kveld med Ylvis that yielded only images of knockoff Kermits with an entity I'll call Bågard, I realized I had to take matters into my own hands.

Title: Det här var ju tråkigt
Author: David Batra
Notes: Lite rolig, lite löjlig. Kommer bli en helt reko julklapp!
Lanky, awkward comedians who make self derogatory jokes, insted of sterotyping groups left and right, are underrated

David Batra talks about a segment he did with Ylvis for IKMY season 2 that they had to cut. (Speaking of times where it gets uncomfortable when audiences gets annoyed and such)
David: The worst experience in that area is... I did, I worked in Norway last autumn and did a tv-show there. With those... Host & David: Ylvis! David: I was their sidekick there last season Host: Yes you portrayed Daniel Nannskog in many skits David: Yes, exactly. Candid camera and such. And one thing we did that we weren’t allowed to show because of legal reasons, people got too angry and was gonna sue and so on was that I went into a cinema. This was before I had been on the show, this was the summer before the show, so nobody knew who I was in Norway. It was Batman [in the cinema], other movies too but mostly Batman. People sat there in the darkness of the cinema, the commercials was through and then I came in with a turtle-neck, quite an academic look, with a bar stool, sat there before them. “Nice to see so many people. This must be a record. Very fun!” And people started to shift in their seats thinking it’s some kind of survey or something or some advertising. I sat down and pulled up a Batman comic book and started to read it out loud. “ Zoom! POW! Batman wakes up in the batcave” And I kept reading, sound effects and all. And people laughed quite a lot because it’s so silly you know? So when I had finished the first page and turned it over people started to applaude, like.. “Thank you! Now you are done” Host: Now the movie begins David: But I kept reading! Host: How long did you read for? Do you know that? David: The longest time was... I didn’t have the nerve at first. It becomes so uncomfortable when it gets quiet and you can feel the peoplpe hate you. The longest time I kept reading for over 20 minutes. And then people started to throw things, yelling “IT’S NOT FUN!” [in Norwegian] and “SUCK MY DICK!” [also in Norwegian] I mean... It’s a bit like in Sweden you know. People are nice... Co-host: To a certain point... and then people lose it David: Exactly! It was very nice and giggles and there was many waves of applause. They were thinking “THANK YOU! MM.. NOW IT IS FINISHED!” but I kept reading until... Co-host: And you weren’t allowed to show this? David: No because there were too many who became angry. People had to leave the movie and stuff, some had babysitters and some had buses and trains to catch so they became too angry and was gonna sue and stuff... Co-host: Ahaa whoops... David: And we hadn’t told the cinema exactly what we were gonna do. We had told them some but not all. So it was actually them who threw me out in the end. Co-host: Okay, so you had lied... David: White lies... you can’t say “we’re gonna disturb the whole movie-experience” So there came one of those people who works at the cinemas and almost dragged me out of there you know. But that was the worst experience like that when you feel [the hate from the people while you are reading] At a show they like you at least and it can be somewhat interesting but this was silence and pure anger. You feel how people [hate you.]
