Creating video tutorial continues to draw more prospect customers to businesses from varied niches. In connection to this, the advancements in technology have brought an assortment of instructional videos in the cyber space which range from poor to excellent quality. It is a given fact the cyberspace is already saturated with this type of films. Most of them range from medium to poor quality. Because of this, viewers are having a difficult time handpicking which of them can best suit their need for knowledge. Do not let your online video tutorials and SEO videos be left behind. Take the effort to make them as marketable as possible. Here are some point that can help business owners with that objective. Instructional clips are dependent on excellent image. This helpful for people who learn best with pictures presented to them. Whether what you have are combined still photos or video clips, make sure they hold high resolution so that they can survive needed editing processes. Since these visuals are educational in nature, counting on the audio-visual input would not be enough. Viewers will get your message clearly if appropriate text on the screen appears. They can come in the form of subtitles, text batches in between scenes and thought bubbles. You have the option to put in text everything in your audio or just select a few words or phrases which you need to put emphasis on. Creating video tutorial could be very challenging especially to the newbies. A great number of instructional clips are already enjoying the top spots in video streaming websites like YouTube, Vimeo and Ustream. How can you compete against them? By providing additional information or features that these videos have. Study the instructional clips dominating in your niche. Know what they have in common. Include in your video that thing that they do not have. Most people jump in to the actual creation of their videos without having a solid script to start with. This would be the foundation of the message that you will be communicating to your audience. With this, your script should be detailed with all the important information. Include your script a checklist that would summarize the entire message shared in the video. This is for the easy recall of its essentials parts by the viewers. Another reminder on creating video tutorial is the appropriate length of the entire instructional clips. Of course, this will vary on the subject matter that each of them holds. However, the general rule is to keep them in a desirable length that will not stir boredom among viewers, as advised by David Jenyns. If the subject matter requires a lengthy video tutorial, try cutting the entirety of it into shorter versions. In fact, you can have them compiled into a video learning series. This will help your viewers beat difficulty in understanding the contents of a drawn-out clip.

[Advice] Is any of you trying to outsource on oDesk?

Hey Gang... Just posted this on a forum thread over at The Challenge Plus.

  Hi Andrea,

Outsourcing is a little bit of a nut that you have to crack.  It will take some time to work out what works for you and things like that.  I have some additional tips that might be helpful.

Check out Elance, vWorker or Freelancer as other alternatives.  oDesk is great but I've just found sometimes I find someone on oDesk, sometimes I don't.  Elance, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.  So I really do believe it's worth trying all the different platforms out there to try and find a team member. 

Make sure that you're not being too specific in your initial request.  That actually eliminates people.  You'd rather start the conversation with them.  So make your description a little bit broader to start with to make sure you get a lot of people into your funnel, so to speak, and then sort of go from there. 

Also, if you haven't already, I would go and check out David Jenyns' video from the Melbourne Going Pro seminar.  He talks quite a bit about outsourcing and building teams and things like that so it's definitely worth looking at.
