David Knobling and Robin Edwards - murdered in September 1987 by the Colonial Parkway Killer. Knobling’s truck was found still running at the Ragged Island Wildlife Refuge. A few days later their bodys washed up 2 miles away, on the shore of the James River. Investigators believed the were pushed toward the water where they were shot to death and then dumped into the river. The case still remains unsolved.
