Documentary about Seymour Hersh who has been at the front lines of political journalism in the United States. Hits breakthrough reportage has brought to the public's attention many of the most damning constitutional wrongdoings and cover-ups.

He admits being wrong about Syria and Assad, and at this point his assessment of what happened with the Nordstream pipeline also seems highly questionable. So you could argue that maybe he should've stopped reporting a good decade ago.

But his legacy will always be the stories he wrote about the My Lai massacre and the torture at Abu Ghraib. You wish there was more support for independent journalism these days.

The more I think about this the more it makes me laugh:

We read about the time Bob Woodward was walking with his agent, David Obst, and saw a dime on the street. Literary agents traditionally have taken 10 percent of their client’s earnings, though that figure has risen. Woodward bent down and picked up the coin. Then he rummaged in his pocket, found a penny and handed it to Obst.
