Over the past month, it has been amazing to work with Adria on my hotel heist thriller graphic novel. I can’t wait to share more about this lovable band of thieves and all their infamous heists. Becoming an agented author has felt like such a monumental step forward toward my dreams, so I’m excited to see where this big step takes me. I made this my pen name as a joke after suffering yet another depressive episode during the 3rd complete rewrite of my sci-fi novel and it worked surprisingly well.

I lose my shit every time I scroll to the top, no matter how many times I see it. It isn't even that funny, but the small joys are what keep me going.

Trying to query my satirical take on the superhero genre is a risky pitch for agents. So now, I'm trying to build hype. This book is set around a cynical civilian with sharp wit and a clear disdain for the heroes who cause as much damage to the city as the villains. But when an accidental kiss with the world's greatest hero leads to a fake dating scandal, Katy is brought to 'heroes haven' for her protection. There, she finds documents outlining a corruption lurking within the system. She uses her analytical mind to dismantle the heroes illusion that they're the good guys, fight to bring true justice to the world, and brings the greatest hero into reality. The heroes begin to want to clean up their act for the world, and all seems to be going her way. Little does she know, the true villain in the system has been watching her all along. And now, they're about to prove why Katy is -Not The Hero-.
