Earlier I was watching the music video for "how much I feel" by Ambrosia and I began tearing up upon the realization that a hug from David Pack could fix all of my problems. Every single one.

// 2005 // Feature LP // David Pack - The Secret of Movin' On (20th Anniversary) / 1pm ET / 12-11-25
David Robert Pack (born July 15,1952) is an American singer, songwriter, is best known as co-founder, lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Ambrosia in the 70’s & 80’s. Pack wrote and sang all of Ambrosia’s RIAA certified gold hits including 3x Grammy nominee “Biggest Part of Me”, “How Much I Feel” and “You’re the Only Woman (You & I).”The Secret Of Movin’ On was released in August 9, 2005…
James Netwon Howard somehow formed a group of people he collaborated with as a session musician on many different places. Thus, he worked a lot with David Pack, so no surprise he ended up playing on his solo record debut. The latter … uh, let’s say I won’t be surprised about why many don’t mention the disc in their retrospectives about the 80’s. The whole thing reeks of politeness and niceness as Pack should’ve done more than a facsimile of Chicago at the time, though I get why he went there – Chicago were one of the few 60’s bands that got their biggest hits in the 80’s, he assumed he might get the same with their formula. Still,the platter showed Pack learnt the wrong lessons from them, because the LP was even more 80’s than Chicago.
